"Grown ups are complicated creatures, full of quirks and secrets."

"Seokjin." Seokjin sighed, turning on his heel and looking at the teacher. "Yes Mr. Chin?"

"I heard you did well in the ranking." Seokjin shrugged. "Apparently."

"You didn't study your butt off?" Seokjin pursed his lips while thinking before shaking his head. "Not more than usual." Mr. Chin nodded, getting up from his deskchair. "Is that all you needed to ask sir?" Mr Chin rubbed his stubbly chin.

[A/N... Sorry, but I laughed a little too hard at that sentence.]

"Can I ask you a favor?"

-

"A child." Seokjin scanned the little girl over. She seemed about 2 years old. "I overheard you complaining about money and I really need someone to watch her while I grade some essays." Seokjin looked from his teacher back to the girl. "Where's the mom?" Mr. Chin bit his lip. "Watching the stars." Seokjin narrowed his eyes. "Then why couldn't she ta-" His teacher gave him a specific look. "Ooohh... She's... Gotcha. How much will you pay me? My time is expensive."

Mr. Chin rolled his eyes at Seokjin's usual attitude. "Is 15 an hour okay?"

"More than okay, yeah I'll watch...." Seokjin looked at her, suspiciously. "Yihwa."

"Yeah okay I'll watch Yihwa." He took the little girl in his arms, faking a smile. "Okay great, just entertain her, I'll be in my office grading." Seokjin nodded his head, watching him disappear into a room.

"Okay Yihwa, what would you like to do?" The little girl stared up at Seokjin, poking his lip. "Pretty."

"Why yes, I am very pretty, I know." He flicked his bangs to the side, the girl was insanely cute. He sat the girl down on his lap, pulling out his phone and opening the snapchat filters. Yihwa cutely giggled with the filters Seokjin put on them, even snapping a few pictures of her. "Too cute." Seokjin smiled, scrolling through the pictures.

He used to watch his little cousins a lot, who were just a pain in the ass. Yihwa was like an angel.

-

Once Mr. Chin returned from his office it was already quite late. However he did not expect Yihwa to be all giddy and to have Seokjin completely covered in messed up makeup. "What happened here?" Yihwa turned to face her father, bouncing over towards him. "Daddy! I made Jinnie extra pretty!"

"Oh my-" Seokjin stood up, a layer of glitter falling down. "....You have any wipes?"

Mr. Chin wanted to go grab them from the bathroom, but Yihwa wasn't having any of it. "No! You are pretty like this!" She stomped her feet angrily looking at the two men. "Okay sweetie, I'll keep it on." Seokjin kindly smiled, making Yihwa happy again. "Okay princess, time for bed." He lifted his daughter up who slumped in his arms, guess she was tired.

Once Mr. Chin came back he handed Seokjin the wipes. "I'm so sorry about that."

"Oh don't worry. I'd rather have glitter all over me than get sprayed by a super soaker filled with spoiled milk." Mr. Chin pulled a disgusted face. "Who did that?"

"My cousins teamed up with my boyf- ...ex, and they sprayed me." He tried his best to stop himself from laughing, clearing his throat to try and mask it. Seokjin looked at his reflection in his phone, wiping off Yihwa's 'art'. "You don't want to talk about it do you?"

"With a teacher? No."

"Teachers know a lot." Seokjin had an unimpressed look on his face. "Where's the money?" Mr Chin chuckled, before handing him 50 bucks. "Sweeettt, I can buy a lot of food with this." He put the cash behind his phone case. "This is easy money, just tell me whenever you need my amazing services again."

"I will." Seokjin fingergunned at his teacher before grabbing his bag. "By the way... I won't have my homework done tomorrow, I was busy working." Mr. Chin slumped his shoulders before shooing Seokjin out of the house.

"Get home safely." Seokjin pretended to be disappointed. "Are you kidding me? I was planning to get hurled into a white van." He turned on his heel, looking both ways before a cyclist nearly knocked him over. "Watch where the fuck you're biking!" He raised his fist in the air at a scared man that quickly scurried off.

"...Yeah... You'll be fine." Mr. Chin closed the door, he finally felt less tired for once.

-

"Where have you been?" Hoseok asked once Seokjin walked through the front door. "Oh you know, twerking on tables, getting lit." Hoseok laughed, before looking at Seokjin's face. "That's where the glitter is from?" He quickly looked in the mirror before cursing. "I thought I had removed it all." He grabs another wipe, wiping away the glitter on his chin. "So where were you really?"

"Work." Hoseok hummed before remembering Seokjin's place of employment. "...They don't have glitter there."

"I found a side job as a babysitter Hobi, don't worry about it." Seokjin plopped down at the table where Hoseok was sitting. "Can I please copy your homework?" Hoseok sighed before pushing his notebooks towards Seokjin. "How is Yoongi?" Seokjin asked while writing.

"Scared, obviously." The rest of the friendgroup had been informed about the situation just in case Hyeonjun would show up if Taehyung or Hoseok weren't near. Seokjin however knew the most because Hoseok needed someone to rant to. "I just can't believe it's still a low priority. This dude has done so many awful things."

"Acab." Seokjin muttered, scribbling down some more words. "What's that?"

"All cops are bad. They feel entitled to do whatever they please now that they have to power over commoners. Those fuckers can take your life and get away with it unpunished."

"Isn't your dad a cop?" Seokjin looked back up at Hoseok. "I don't know how he behaves at work. He might be the shittiest of them all. Acab."

"Acab."
