Weather Calls for Falling Girls

Blythe's (POV)

   7:15 am

    I brush my hair out and put on my make-up (a natural look),my outfit today is a black crop and cuffed jeans. I was debating whether I should wear a flannel or not but that might make mom mad so I didn't.

    I pick up my phone and take a selfie to post on insta. #readyfortheday it will get about hmm 300 likes yep. I scroll thru my dms and see 4 texts

Hannah: what r u wearing today?

Reana: ugh I hate my parents.

Jason: hey

Quinn: I'm sorry.

   I look at the message from Quinn and delete it, I didn't want to defriend her but mom was right the one day I hang out with them I'm a mess and forget my place. I'm a Jennings I must be on top of everything and I can't be seen with lower class unless it's for charity.

   I walk down the stairs and see Justin playing with an action figure in the living room, "haha thake that you villain!" I roll my eyes and go to the kitchen where my mom is of course cooking and dad is reading the newspaper. Same routine as always, I sit down and mom puts down one egg and toast in front of me "You're gaining weight so I'm putting you on a diet." She says and walks away like I'm a nuisance.

    I look at my food and eat, she's so bad I hate her all she cares about is her reputation ugh, I feel the anger rising in me as my hand turns into a fist. "FUCK YOU, YOU BITCH!!" I yell at the top of my lungs.

   The room goes dead silent except for the bacon sizzling on the pan, I'm breathing fast and tears are forming. I wipe my eyes and grab my backpack "I'll walk to school." I say  while I slam the door behind me, school is like 2 miles blocks away guess I'll get my workout in.

    7:45

    As I'm walking down the sidewalk I hear yelling but not like ' I'm being murdered ahhhh' it's like 'ahhh stop tickling me' idk. I turn the corner and see the twins playing chicken fight but with nobody just the air. I try to silently walk the other way but Jack See's me "oh." He realizes it's me.

   Did Quinn tell him what happened? Of course she did that's her twin guhh, she notices me and her eyes go wide, she loses her balance and falls off of Jack's shoulders. She hits the ground this time her nose isn't bleeding, but her elbows are and her leg is scraped.

   I put my hand out for her to get up, she accepts and stands up obviously in some pain. I open my backpack and pull out her sweatshirt and some bandages, "here thx for the sweater and maybe wrap up the cuts, they'll get infected." She grabs them but stays  quiet she still hasn't looked me in the eye and I don't blame her.

    "Hey um jack, I think you should carry her to school. Just, don't drop her this time." I start to walk away for a bit and then behind me I hear running and shouting "hey why are you walking to school isn't your mansion like 5 miles away?" Say jack with a goofy smile, the same goofy smile as Quinn.

   Quinn is hiding her face in Jack's hair probably not wanting to look at me "oh I had a fight with my mom and needed some air so I decided to walk, and also it's only 2 miles." I smile because I just realized something, these two would love my little brother.
