AS SHE SHUT the bathroom's door close, I took a happy deep sigh before turning my back around.
I hope this isn't a bad idea.
Natatawang naiiling nalang ako habang papalabas ng bahay.
I drove my car until it stopped in front of a store, not too big and not too small either. Binuksan ko ang pintuan ng aking sasakyan bago lumabas at maglakad patungo sa loob ng store.
As I entered the said store, I noticed that the cashiers are looking at me head to toe. But I just ignored them and roomed around to find my intention inside it.
But at the middle of walking, a girl approached me and I'm handsome sure she's one of the workers here, so I stopped. "May I know what is yours sir? I can assist you to that particular area." she smiled at me. She's like the same age as me.
I gave her a smile. "That's great. I'm rushing by the way."
And to my shock, a lot of girls with red and white uniform drew near us. "We can also assist you sir." they said in unison.
I laughed awkwardly and even scratched the back of my head. "I think one is enough."
"Awww." napa-aww naman ang mga ito at isa-isang nagsi-alisan.
"May I know, what will you buy sir?" the girl who first approached me while ago spoke in front of me.
I started pushing the cart and she immediately followed me. "A sanitary napkin. Where is it?" I asked.
I saw how she stopped from walking and even open-mouthed. "Is that bad? A man buying a sanitary napkin?" I chuckled.
"Don't tell me, you'll gonna use it?" hindi parin makapaniwalang nakatingin ito sa'kin.
"Then I won't tell you." I laughed.
"You're a gay?!" napalakas ata ng pagkakasabi nito dahil ang mga nakarinig ay tumingin sa aming parte.
I shrugged. "I hate gossipers." I uttered. "And it's not my priority to tell you the truth." I said nonchalantly and I even smiled at her to not become rude. "So can you please lead the way to the sanitary napkin?" I added.
And to my surprise, "Sorry sir but someone needs me at the office I forgot." then she turned around without letting me spoke, and I did saw how her eyes rolled. At para pa itong nandidiri.
Is gender really matters in this little store? What a bitch.
I rolled my eyes because of what she acted.
Durugin ko kaya pagmumukha non? Tutal mukha rin namang paminta.
"Hey man!" I heard a voice behind my back so I turned around and I saw a classmate from high school.
Who is him again? Ahhh! "Paul!" I uttered his name.
"You remember me huh?" he chuckled.
"Of course. I can't forget the guy who's always making my assignments." I laughed because of what I said. Yeah, he's really the one making my assignments, in exchange? money.
I know, it's not good to use the money as an advantage, but I'm really lazy that time. And also Paul needs that. I know that they are not rich, so I'm the super hero helping him.
"What brings you here?" he asked.
"I was here to... buy a... you know... sanitary napkin." I chuckled.
"You kidding me, aren't you?"
"Nope. It's my girlfriend's period." I chuckled.
"Ooh. You have one? That face?" natatawang anito kaya itinaas ko ang gitnang bahagi ng daliri ko.
