"A-Another one…?" The barmaid in front of you was surprised and worried when you asked for more drinks. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, please." You put your glass next to her.

"I don't think that's healthy, you know…" The woman commented, purring more drink on your glass. "And we will close soon. Do you have anyone to pick you up?"

"Thanks for reminding me that I'm lonely in this world." You started to cry just like you were doing twenty minutes ago.

"Hey, please don't cry." She reached out to wipe the tears off of your face. "You are not lonely. He doesn't deserve you, okay?"

You were basically friends with the barmaid at that point. She was the one who had to hear you sobbing after being stood up four times by the same man. You didn't know why you still tried.

"Why would he say he loved me and then do this to me?" Your face was soaked in tears.

"Man… they can lie without any regrets." She approached you and took a seat by your side. You and the barmaid were alone in the bar. "But I'm sure you will find the right one for you." She placed her hand on your back, caressing you.

"I will die alone." You hugged her out of the drunkness.

"No, you won't…" She played with your hair to calm you down. "I'm here for you, alright?"

"Can I kiss you?" You asked out of the blue. "Please."

"You are too drunk."

"Please Demi…" You looked up at her with pleading eyes.

"I think I should take you home."

"Are you planning on killing me?" Your question made her laugh.

"I will take you home." Demi stated, standing up. "I will close the bar and you will tell where you live, okay?" You just nodded in response.

You stood there, leaning on the balcony, feeling sleepy. When Demi came back, she helped you to get up, out of the bar, and in her car. You slept during the entire ride home.
The last thing you remembered was laying on your bed and receiving a "good night" from Demi Bourbon.
When you woke up the next morning, you heard a knock on your door.

"I see I came at the right time." Demi smiled at you.

"W-What are you doing here?"

"I came to bring you breakfast and some hangover medicines." She showed the bag on her hands and gave it to you.

"Get in, please." You gave her space to enter your apartment. "Thank you, for everything. And I'm sorry about last night. Really, really sorry."

"It's okay, you were heartbroken. Did he call?"

"No. It's over now." You pushed a chair for her to sit.

"I don't know exactly what you like, but I brought donuts, coffee, and sandwiches."

"You didn't need to…" You said, feeling guilty for worrying the barmaid. "You don't need to take care of me." But at the same time, you felt good for having her around and having someone who cares about you.

"I think we are kind of friends at this point. I mean, a drunk person can make a friendship very easily. But if you don't want to, I can…"

"I would love that." You giggled happily.

The two of you enjoyed breakfast while watching a comedy movie. When you noticed the time, it was already lunchtime. As Demi bought you breakfast, you insisted to pay for lunch at a good restaurant from your neighborhood.
You passed almost all day together, knowing more of each other, hanging out, and having fun.
