When you love a woman you tell her
that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one
'Cause she needs somebody to tell her
that it's gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman?[Macie]
Yeah, so I'm a virgin. Big deal, right? Well for a celebrity my age, if anybody found out, it would embarrass the hell out of me. I mean, I'm not embarrassed by it, but as a celebrity and considering the people I've dated, if it became a known fact, I would die from shame.
But I trust Nick. I mean, I've only known him a month, but I trust him. He's not going to run of and tell the press. If he can trust me with his kids, letting me take his daughter out shopping after knowing me just a few days, then I can trust him I think. He's really genuine, which is something rare in this town.
I trust him so much that he and his kids are moving into my house considering the fact that his rent was due and he hasn't found a job. I offered to lend him the money but he's too proud to accept it. I had to practically beg him to just move in here until he got back on his feet in January. He and the kids are staying in the bedrooms on the opposite side of the house as my bedroom and while they've only been here one night, the kids seem to love it.
Nick and I, however, have been working on his movie when he's not still trying to find a job. We've put an advertisement in the Hollywood Reporter for casting for a small-budget independent film and have already gotten several e-mails. We've picked the locations that we are going to film and a couple of guys from the show who haven't gotten any other jobs yet are going to help work as the crew for a small paycheck.
I guess it helps being nice to your crew when you're the star of the television show, huh?
Nick is almost done editing his script that he said he's been working on for almost two years and when it's done, we're going to set everything in motion. I'm just excited that he asked me to play the lead character, the singer. It's such a stretch from the roles that I've played before. This chick is a diva, a celebrity and a bitch and I've never played that role before.
So I'm excited. I'm excited about a lot of things, including the fact that Nick and I are getting to know one another better.

"Macie!" Zoey yelled as she walked through the front door of the house late that afternoon. She took her shoes off by the door and walked in, her backpack hung over one shoulder to see Macie standing in the kitchen. "Hey, my friend's mom dropped me off. Dad said that it was okay since we didn't have practice this afternoon."
"Oh, okay," Macie smiled, taking something out of the oven. "How was school today?"
"Boring as usual," Zoey said, sitting down at the bar and taking one of her notebooks out of her backpack. "Do you mind if I sit up here and do my homework?"
"No, that's fine, but you can go in my office at my desk if you want to," Macie said, taking the M&M cookies she had baked and put them on a plate.
"Nah, I like it in here," Zoey said, taking a textbook out of her backpack. "You like to bake stuff and it smells good. Plus, it's nice."
"Me baking stuff is nice?" Macie asked, holding the plate out so that Zoey could take a cookie.
"Yeah, you know," Zoey said, taking a bite of the cookie. "It's like in television shows or movies how the mother is always at home and baking things and I've never experienced that, even though you're not my Mom, but you know what I mean."
"The only woman you've ever really been around is your Grandma," Macie said as Zoey nodded.
"I know we only moved in for a little while but are you and my Dad..."
