(╭☞ ͡ ͡° ͜ ʖ ͡ ͡°)╭☞~Bertholdt's POV~

"Berty, where's my dolly?" Annie asked with her baby like voice.

I handed her her stick figure.

"Reiner, come on let's play!" She cheerfully smiled. She went from kicking his butt angry, to gum drops lollipops and rainbows happy. But I wasn't going to question her. . .

"An-nie you just! You just flipped me and hurt my head!" Reiner said opposingly, rubbing his head and in total shock that Annie was 'acting normal.'

"Yeah and you just ruined our doll house, you don't see me yelling at you."

"That's not fair."

"I don't care, Bert and us worked hard on this and you messed it up! Hmph!" Annie began to clutch her doll tightly with her tiny fingers and palm. She stood up and was about to walk towards Reiner, when she heard something.

Reiner and us noticed she heard something since she stopped so abruptly, we were in the middle of the woods-- the safe part that is. Its probably just a jack rabbit or some birds.

"Guys. I have to go! Now!" She wasn't yelling, but she spoke in a soft shout and dropped her doll and ran without saying good bye.

I was sniffling. "Reiner look what you did! She's mad and noe she doesn't wanna play!" I sniffled and sat on the floor, bringing my knees to my face. I was crying.

"Oh come on Berty warty, don't be such a cry baby now." I heard him walking somewhere whilst I was busy sobbing with my eyes closed.

I peered and saw him fixing the doll house more.

"See I'll help fix it, see all better now? Righ--"

Reiner dropped the pieces in his hands and looked up to something behind me. It cast a shadow over and I turned my head to see.

It was Annie's dad! W-what do we do?!

He moved his eyes to me without moving his own body.

"Have you seen where Annie is?. . .she usually hangs around you both. . ." he asked us monotonely.

"Uh--uhm--" Reiner cut me off.

"No! . . uh we haven't." Reiner told him as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Hmm." Her dad paused. "Is that so?" He had a smug face. And then looked down at me which gave me chills.

"She's not here sir-- r-right Bert?" Reine told me, yet her dad didn't budge to look at Reiner.

"That's sounds more like a question that the truth-- how about you son?" He said, still looking at me.

"Uh-uh. . .sh-she wasn't here. Reiner and I are just playing." I stuttered over every word!

"Weird. Bunch a boys playing with a doll house. . .I'll get going now. . .it'll be dark soon. You boys should get home soon before the cyotes get cha. . ."

And with that he left.

I was with grandma and she was cooking. I stood there on the wooden kitchen table, playing with the left over dough that went bad. How was it bad? It was still squishy and smelled good.

"Go on Bertholdt, read them." Granmama told me. I didn't want to. I feel stupid for it.

I groaned in a whiny voice. She was cooking, her back to me as she stirred her pot of delicious soup.
