Once Conner got home from school, he went to his desk. A few stray colour pencils were scattered on the desk, and Conner tossed them back into his tin bucket of colour pencils. He'd been up so late last night that he was too tired to tidy up. He flipped through his well-worn sketchbook and smiled fondly. Its pages filled with messy sketches of Foxie's characters. Conner was rather proud of the drawings he did. And he was glad Foxie liked them too.

He only hoped she wouldn't find out he was the one who drew them... or else she might quickly figure out who he was. And Conner didn't think he was ready for that.

A/N: I actually have to study The Taming of the Shrew. It's... interesting. My literature mock exam is tomorrow. Funny how I prewrote this in August and I coincidentally scheduled it the day before my exams.
