tw: intense situation

------------

"where's spencer? where am i?" you called as your panic level rose, looking around the white room.

were you in a hospital room? why?

emily sat down next to you with a concerned look on her face.

it'd looked like she'd been crying?

sniffling, she put her hand on yours,

"y/n, he's-"

surprisingly, you were up before spencer. the past few nights you'd been having strange dreams, or rather nightmares. small little bits of what seemed real. but they weren't?

the most disturbing one by far was when you had gotten shot.

it felt so realistic. the shots ringing in your ears, the pain in your chest. it all felt so real.

too real.

that's what terrified you the most.

you laid awake in spencer's bed as the clock finally struck 5:30 AM. just on time, spencer's phone alarm went off. you chewed on the inside of your cheek nervously as spencer rose from his deep sleep. he rolled over, turning off the alarm. he then sat up and glanced at you,

"good morning.." he yawned. you pursed your lips,

"hey.." you croaked. spencer tossed his covers off of himself as he slid out of the bed. you did the same, beginning to gather your now dry clothes hanging in spencer's closet. he watched you as he took out a pair of grey glen-check trousers and a black button up,

"are you alright?" he asked with a raise of his eyebrow. you glanced over your shoulder,

"yea, yea. i'm fine." you shook your head as you held your clothes in your arms. spencer walked over, tilting your chin upwards towards him. your eyes met his and he gently pressed his lips against yours before pulling away,

"you can tell me anything, y/n. don't be afraid." he said, your chin still held inbetween his pointer finger and thumb. you gave him a small smile as your heart fluttered,

"got it." you responded with a smile. you leaned up and gave him one last kiss before grabbing your phone from the nightstand. spencer walked away and continued getting dressed. you checked the time on your phone.

5:37.

with a heavy hearted sigh, you exited his bedroom,

"i'll see you at work," you called out as you left his room, clothes in hand and only wearing his shirt. spencer watched you disappear down the hall and licked the corner of his lips.

you tiptoed only a few doors down to your room. sliding the key card over the sensor to your door, you walked into your room. you closed and locked your door behind you. for some odd reason, a strange cloud of sadness hovered over your head. your shoulders sagging, you walked to your bedroom to get dressed. you threw the dirty clothes in your arms on top of your bed and walked to your suitcase. you bent down and unzipped the pack, reaching in to grab clothes. you grabbed a pair of black mid-rise jeans and a simple purple t-shirt. you knew it'd be hot outside, so you made sure the shirt was short sleeve and breathable. you grabbed your usual pair of black suede ankle boots. laying everything down on your mattress, you slid off spencer's t-shirt and stood bare in your room in search for a bra and underwear. you finally landed on a pair of matching black undergarments, the underwear simpler than the silk decorated bra. you slid the fabric on with ease, putting on your clothes over them. you walked to your bathroom and glanced at yourself in the body mirror hanging on the door before turning to the counter. you grabbed your travel toothbrush and toothpaste, quickly applying the cream to the bristles. you put the toothbrush in your mouth, your gums immediately being stung by the fresh mint. you paced your bathroom slowly as you brushed your teeth.
