"...and then, Maverick wrote this ridiculous fake "love" confession "speech" to get back at me! He was making up fake stuff about ridiculous false fantasies, saying that I brought handcuffs to his room this one time and well...implied that something happened. I was extremely vexed by him," I scowled.
"Whoa, girl. Slow down. It has now become an everyday occurrence that there's some altercation with Maverick, so I'm not surprised. But what is this about handcuffs? Girl, he's surprisingly more of a deviant than I thought," Keisha chuckled.
"You find this all funny? I was suffering during detention because of his ridiculous behavior. Luckily, Professor Hill decided to choose to believe me due to his bad track record," I sighed. "But then, Maverick told me about his condition, which you now know about. That's why...I regret asking you to post that video on Gossip Con. I mean, it's Sasha's shitty website."
"Who cares about what she thinks? The point is that you got revenge on him like you wanted. Aera: 1, Maverick: 1. I mean, he insinuated that you're into really kinky stuff in that shitty fake speech," Keisha frowned. "I mean, not that there is a problem if you are. It's a free country, so I don't judge. But him making up lies and stirring up things again is all his doing."
"As much as I am upset, I kind of want to take a momentary break from the whole revenge plan thing. I did something awful, which was triggering him about his phobia and his disorder. We agreed on this idea of fighting with fairness. You know that."
"Fine, even if I don't believe that one bit. But only since you say so that I'm going to trust your word. How about we take another approach. I say it's time to dig dirt on Sasha. So far, Sasha's track record seems a little too perfect. It's suspicious how no one has been able to find any dirt on her, minus the fact that she picks on other students she thinks are below her. Not like trying to expose that will help. We need something even better than that," Keisha asserted.
"How will we find dirt on her? She has so many loyal followers and connections. She's wealthier than Maverick," I pointed out.
"This is where we delineate other peoples' boundaries with her. There has to be a place where they draw the line about her, considering how obvious it is that her behavior is all fake and for show. And that's when she's attempting to feign being nice," Keisha responded back.
I wasn't sure how to find dirt about Sasha, but Keisha seemed so confident at that moment.
"Meet up with me after class. We're crashing that bitch's cheerleading practice today and getting info on the DL from the other cheerleaders on the team," Keisha smirked.
"But we have to convince them to give that kind of confidential info," I frowned.
"Unless I find another way to get that confidential info," Keisha smiled mischievously. "Trust me. I've got it all handled this time."
I looked at the time on my phone. "Shoot. It's almost time for another drama lecture," I groaned. "That means another time period that I have to spend rehearsing with Maverick. I swear, the jerk is everywhere!"
"I would tell you to get back at him because of the obnoxious fake love confession note, but that fighting is what made you end up in detention with him in the first place." Keisha patted my shoulder in sympathy. "Now, go to that class."
____________
It might have been easy for Keisha to say something like that since she wasn't the one that was actually dealing with my situation. But my fears were confirmed when Henry Valentine announced, "Today, we will be working on the most important part of your plays."
"Is it the part where the characters fuck?" Hunter asked with a smirk. "The main leads of my group's play are so rigid and...virginal. That scene where they fake it definitely needs some work."
