Colored Footsteps [Breddy Soulmate AU]

Soulmate AUs are open-ended and they can all be different. This is how mine is going to look like:

There is a counter on your arm of how many steps your soulmate is from you. There are also colored footprints of your soulmates steps that only you are able to see.

Everything is black and white until you meet your soulmate. After meeting them you are able to see color.

Counter on arm: in ink, changing as you walk. Most ignore, can't stare at it nonstop, so if soulmate is within 1.5k steps it will alert you.

The ONLY colored thing the person can see is soulmate's footsteps. That is why it will really stand out for them.

The soulmates footsteps fade after an hour of being made.

When person lays eyes on soulmate, world will burst into color. Also follow the footprints to find them.
