Chapter 10 - Surprise Sleepover

Chapter 10! Wow- How did I get this far without giving up? I'm amazed. Also I'm sorry I don't upload as often as I did when I first made this book, and that I also don't have as many words... I just have a lot of writers block some times and also I am in school, which is getting in the way, I'm kinda stressed right now.. so I'm sorry if this affects how good the chapters are.. I'll try to fix it, promise! Also, in case you're wondering, I would have made my username "Lemon_Boy1464" or the same but with girl, but, Fun Fact #1 - I am non-binary so it's just lemons ☺️

BBH P.O.V.

I had Zak sit down as I re-opened the cabinets and took out the ingredients to bake muffins. While getting them he did protest quite a bit, but eventually he gave up. After I put the muffin mix that was now in a cupcake pan, into the oven I went over to the couch and sat down.

"Ugh... I feel bad. You should have to cook, you're the guest." Zak said with a sigh. I smiled. "It's okay! Plus I love baking! I already said that, didn't I? I just hope you'll like the muffins." I replied. He smiled.

"Don't worry Darryl, I bet they'll be delicious." He said still smiling. I nodded, happy with his response. Before we knew it, the muffins were done. I quickly went to the oven, put on the oven mitt which was already on the counter because apparently no one put it away, and I took the muffins out of the oven. After taking them out I left them to cool.

"Daaarrrrryyyylllll~ How much longer until the muffins are done coooliiiinngggg?" Zak asked extending some of his words. "Oh calm down you impatient muffin." I said as he slowly went and grabbed the tv remote.

(I forgot to mention this but the next week they have a week long break, so it is Sunday but the don't have school on Monday and stuff).

He picked up the tv remote and turned on Netflix. "Darryl, you wanna watch a movie?" He asked. I nodded. "Yeah, sure! You chose though, I don't really know what I wanna watch right now." I said. He nodded and scrolled through the movies and shows.

He seemed like he didn't know what to watch either, because why the time he figured out a movie he kinda wanted to watch the muffins had finished cooling. I asked where the plates were and when he told me I went and grabbed one. I put two muffins on the plate and ran over to the couch. I sat down and put the plate on the coffee table. Zak grabbed a muffin and took a bite. Suddenly he froze. Anxiety noooo! Does he not like it??? Did I do bad???

("Did I do bad" Haha.. get it? Badboyhalo.. get it? No? Just me? Okay ;-;)

He slowly turned his head to me.

"Darryl..."

"Y-Yeah Zak?"

"What. Did. You. Do."

"W-What do you mean?"

"What did you do?! These muffins are so delicious! How did you make these?! Teach me or something!"

I breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh well.. I didn't really do anything that special. It's just my secret recipe, but I'm sure anyone could guess it." I answered. He nodded but clearly didn't believe that anyone could make muffins this good and looked back at the tv, pressed play on the movie, and continued happily eating the muffin.
