Chapter 22 - Picnic

Skeppy's P.O.V.

Darryl woke me up by yelling my name. I guess I fell asleep on the table. I sat up and looked at him. "Zak, I was thinking, us and all of our friends should hang out! It might improve your mood!" He suggested trying to help. I nodded. "Okay." I said. He smiled.

Next thing I was in a car with Vincent, Finn, and Darryl, and Wilbur's car with him, Tommy, and Tubbo, was heading to the same location as ours. I think the DreamTeam was coming too. We had picked up Finn, Wilbur picked up Dave, and Dream picked up Fundy. So there would be a lot of us. Apparently we were going to the park for a picnic or whatever. Wilbur has to make a lot of sandwiches. He seemed very annoyed when they pinned the food on him, but he did it.

Vincent and Finn were talking the whole ride, but I just wanted some nice silence. However, I'm too nice to say anything. And also I don't want Darryl to be mad at me for telling them to shut up. Finally we arrived to the park. We got out of the car and went to where we saw Wilbur set up. He got a blanket to sit on since the grass was wet, BUT NO HE DID NOT HAVE A PLAID BLANKET AND A BROWN BASKET.

The food was in a plastic tub thing, and whatever had to be kept cold was in the cooler. "You all owe me A LOT for this." Said Wilbur as ser down the tub. The minute he set it down Nick opened it. "Yeah sure, now what kind of food did you get us?" He said as he started looking through the food. Darryl grabbed him and pulled him back. "Not yet Nick! Slow down!" He said. Nick groaned and sat back down. HAHA.

Now I did just internally laugh but I had an expressionless face the entire time. "Alright, but what food did you actually get?" Asked Dave. Wilbur handed him a list of food he got. "Sandwiches... ham.. pastrami... turkey... salami... BACON? WILBUR. THE AUDACITY!" Dave exclaimed. Finn and Vincent laughed. Which caused everyone else to start laughing. I smiled slightly but it didn't last long.

"S-Sorry? I mean, I just thought someone like you would love bacon." Wilbur said. "Eh?!" Replied Dave. "He's right, psychopath, cannibal, don't see a difference." Said Nick.

(The more this goes on the less I want to kill Nick :( Poor sappy nappy I don't want him to die but he must because I've already come too far-)

"I am deeply offended." Said Dave. "You should be." Said Fundy snickering. "Shut up furry." Replied Dave. Fundy gasped. I reached into the tub, grabbed a random sandwich, took it out of the plastic bag, and started eating it. It was pretty good, but not as good as Darryl's muffins.

I didn't really want to eat anymore after I finished half of the sandwich though. I couldn't tell if I was full, just not hungry, or just didn't want to eat. It could have been any of the above. Maybe it was all of the above.

I put the sandwich back in the plastic bag it came from, and sat it next to me. I'd eat it later. Anyway, we all- well.. everyone except me talked for a long while. I didn't talk much, just the occasional nod or head shake. Didn't really feel much like doing any talking.

I only wanted to talk when Darryl talked. When other people talked I would just nod. And when Nick talked I'd just ignore him. I didn't want to really even look at him. His face ticked me off.

(Poor sappy nappy :( )

I wonder why it did. But either way he just made me mad. He BREATHED in my direction and it annoyed me. It took a lot to not give him the death glare just because he sneezed. That's just how it is. Anyways, I sort of started spacing out in the middle of the thing.

Wilbur's P.O.V.

"So yeah, me and Darryl went on a date." Said Nick. I was surprised. Zak liked Darryl, I thought he liked him back. "That wasn't really a date, you know that!" Darryl said slightly hitting Nick's arm. "Plus, Zak and Fundy were there." He added. "Well, Zak was just at the table next to you with his family and I was working, so I'm not sure if you can really count us as a part of your friend date." Said Fundy.

Ahhh, that makes more sense. It wasn't a date, they just went out to eat. Although I can't imagine it didn't annoy Zak. It had to have, he seemed the type to get jealous easily.

"Welll~ Maybe we could go on a real daaate?~" Nick said, obviously joking. I can imagine how jealous Zak feels right now.

Skeppy's P.O.V.

"Weelll~ Maybe we could go on a real daaate?~" Nick said. He was joking. He had to be joking. I swear to god if he was not joking. But what if he was joking. Or what if he was joking but was also hinting at the fact that he wanted it to happen. Oh the nerve.  It made my blood boil.

Why would Darryl even consider dating someone like him. He wouldn't, I doubt it. If he did... what would I do? I can't let him.. I just can't let it happen.. I won't let it happen! It would be the end of me. I have to stop that from happening.

Suddenly I realized I was spacing out while thinking about it, I was snapped back into reality by Vincent yelling my name. I looked up at him. "Zak! Zak, say goodbye to Wilbur and them, they're about to leave." He said. I nodded. "Goodbye Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, and Dave.." I said quietly. "Bye." Said Wilbur. "Cya later!" Said Tubbo. "Bye bitch." Said Tommy. "Language!" Exclaimed Darryl. "Cya nerd." Said Dave. Then they all left.

Now it was just me, Darryl, Vincent, Finn, the dream team, and Fundy. I guess we need to continue the picnic.

A little while later the dream team and Fundy had to leave too. I didn't realize how much time had passed. Dream, George, and Fundy went over to the car after saying goodbye. "Oh! Hey! Darryl, Zak, you guys want to hang out tomorrow?" He asked. "Ooo, Yeah sure!" Said Darryl. I didn't want to, but Darryl said yes, so I guess I would. "Eh, why not." I said. "Cool." He said, as he walked over to catch up with Dream, George, and Fundy.

I guess we'd have to hang out with Nick tomorrow.
