I sat in silence in front of Karl. We were in science and had been paired up by drawing paper from a hat. Nick sabotaged it, obviously. I didn't care that much but it was still nerve racking to have another person who can actually see Nick. I should probably tell Wilbur about this. He might call me mental again but It still seems like something I should tell him. Maybe I could convince Karl to find some way of showing Nick to him.

I wasn't paying attention at all during class, so I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Karl was currently mixing two liquids, dish soap and something else. Nick was very happy to have Karl to talk to, as I said before, and Karl definitely noticed it.

But Nick was so focused on Karl.. that he forgot what Wilbur had asked me. He forgot that I was originally going to say yes. He forgot George's life was at stake. He wasn't going to try and convince me out of it now. I had the ability to make up my mind without feeling guilt.

Perhaps I would kill George. It seemed like a good idea... but I was taken out of my thoughts by a sound at the back of the class. It wasn't too loud so not many people looked, but our group was close so we heard it loud and clear. I was already annoyed at the fact that he got partnered with Darryl. But this just made me angry.

Even though Alex was shorter than Darryl he was still strong enough to carry him. Darryl had been on a ladder grabbing something from the top of a shelf. And he fell. And Alex caught him. And was holding him. In his arms. Bridal style.

I glared in their direction. Darryl and Alex laughed as he put him down. Karl noticed this. "Hey, you okay Zak?" He asked. I turned my head back to them. "Yeah. I'm fine." I said in an annoyed tone. Karl looked over at Nick. Nick sighed. "Zak it's fine he was just helping him." Nick said. I hummed in response.

I took out a piece of paper and started writing the science notes that were on the board at the front of the class. Karl continued to mess around with the liquids, and that was the end of that conversation.

It was lunch by now, we were all sitting down at the table, and Alex was talking his mouth off. I was completely bored. That's when the others came over to the table. Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, Phil, Dave, Sally, Fundy, and Nikki.

"Hey guys! How's it going?" Wilbur asked. "It's going good." Said Dream. "Hey, so Karl, some of us were never properly introduced to you." Fundy said. They had all been properly introduced to Alex, but not Karl.

"Oh, uh yeah. What're your names?" He asked.

"My names Tubbo!"

"I'm Tommy."

"Wilbur."

"I'm Phil."

"I'm Fundy."

"Dave."

"Sally!"

"And I'm Nikki."

"Well It's good to finally be introduced to you all." Karl said with a smile. They all smiled back. They all came over here for a reason. The others came over to distract my group, not that they were aware that's why Wilbur told them to come with him. Wilbur came over because I needed to talk to him and Karl.

I got up and signaled for Karl to do the same. He nodded and all three of us went to talk outside, in the courtyard. "So what's up?" Wilbur asked. "Well remember how you called me mental because I said I saw Nick's ghost?" I asked. He nodded. Karl grabbed an amulet out of his pocket. "Put this on." He said. Wilbur nodded, obviously very confused. He put on the amulet and immediately yelled in shock and confusion.

"See? I wasn't mental." I said. Even though I actually probably was. I had told Karl while we were in the hall about how I wanted to tel Wilbur, so he said he would give Wilbur and amulet he always carried on him in case he needed to show a ghost to someone. "I- you- he- that- he's- Nick- I-" Wilbur stuttered. He was clearly having trouble processing this.

"Calm down Wilbur. Don't alert people." Karl said. Wilbur nodded and breathed in and out. "Okay.. okay. Um.. so.. how..? How is he here...?" Wilbur asked. Karl shrugged. Nick and I knew why but we weren't gonna say anything in front of Karl.

"Okay uh.. what.. what're you gonna do about it..? Umm... did Nick tell you what happened to him..?" Wilbur asked. Karl shook his head. "He said he didn't know." He said. Wilbur nodded. "Okay, well.. has he been here the whole time..?" Wilbur asked. I nodded. "Yeah. He follows me around at all times." I said. "I see.." Wilbur replied.

"You can keep the amulet by the way. I have more at home, I usually just keep one on me." Karl said. Wilbur nodded. Wilbur could actually see more ghosts than just Nick but he was more focused on the bloody ghost of his dead friend who's body he helped hide.

"So are you gonna try to figure out what happened to Nick then?" Wilbur asked. "Yeah. I intend to, I think everyone would be more at peace knowing what happened to him and that whoever was responsible is in custody." Karl said. Me and Wilbur nodded, hiding the fact that we were both nervous.

"Yeah the person who did this to me is surely going to rot in hell because they are just the worst most psychotic evil being in existence." Nick said, clearly meaning me. "That's a bit of an over exaggeration.. probably." Karl said.

"Oh, by the way Wilbur, do me a favor and hide that amulet underneath your sweater. We wouldn't want anyone seeing it and knowing what it is. Many people would kill to get their hands on that." Karl said. Wilbur nodded and his the amulet.

That's one hell of a cool amulet.
