Ben's POV

I managed to buy everything that I needed, I try to sneak in with the items without Bell seeing me, and I wanted her to be surprised. After dropping the things in my room, I search for Nadia; I find her and ask for a couple of things that I needed. She immediately assists me, I check the time, 12H30. I feel a rush of panic as I hurry to set up on the patio, once Nadia sent someone with everything that I needed, I finish up and take a look, I am pleased as I watch the sight in front of me. I check the time, 12H55, I head to find Bell.

She was already standing in the foyer, nervously looking at the time. "Man was she a sight to look at," I tell myself, I take a second to admire her, she's so beautiful. "I'm not late am I?" I say walking towards her. She smiles and says," I thought that I was being stood up." I take her hand in mine and say, "I would never do that to you Bell."

I feel the familiar warm sensation as I take her hand, she doesn't pull away and she allows me to lead her. Bell looks a bit confused as I lead her towards my room and is kind of hesitant. "If this is what I think it is, I'm leaving right now." She says in a frustrated manner. I try not to feel down by her remark and ruin the surprise so I carefully say, "I only want to show you something really important, I promise, if you don't like it, then you can leave."

Bell agrees but still looks confused, I lead her to the patio and I see her surprised face, followed by teary eyes. "No Bell, don't cry please, I don't want you to be sad," I say as I pull her towards me and embrace her. Her daisy smell overwhelms me and I bury my head in her hair, which smelt like green apples. "Is this wrong because it feels so right? I will hold her like this forever and never let her go." I tell myself.

Bell looks up to me and says," I just feel so bad now, I almost accused you of trying something with me." She sniffs a bit and continues, " and the other thing is, I've been working in this guest house for almost a year, I've prepared this kind of things for guests that request it, never have I dreamed that someone would ever do this for me." I almost cry with her, but I gently wipe cheeks and say. "Come, sit, and allow me to make this a memorable time for you."

She sits down, smiles a bit, and picks one daisy out of the vase, smells it, and says, "My favorite flowers, how did you know?" I watch her as she sniffs in the aroma and answers, "I can smell it all over you." She looks a bit surprised but continues smiling. She picks up the takeaway cup of juice and says, "I see that you visited Big Joe's."

I wanted to get her something she loves and I knew that she enjoyed Big Joe's food. "Oh? What gave my game away?" I say pretending to look surprised, we both end up laughing as Bell points towards the cup.

As we enjoy the lunch, we talk of our childhood, first crushes, the worst dates, we exchanged phone numbers and for the first time in a long time, I feel liberated and am truly grateful for the time I am spending with Bell, which reminded me of something I excuse myself and go to my room. I return to the patio and find Bell tidying up the table. "No, leave that," I say as I take the empty containers from her hand. "This is for you," I say and place the small box in her hand. Bell looks stunned and her mouth drops open to say something, but I quickly open the box for her to see and she stares at the silver locket with a bell as the pendant. "It's, it's beautiful." She stutters and continues," but I can't accept this." I watch as she hands it back to me. "Bell this is just to say thank you for yesterday and I want you to have it please," I say. She looks at me and her eyes are watery, she nods her head and I take it from the box, she turns around and I tie it around her neck and slowly brush my hands down her shoulders when I'm done.

She turns around and we face one another, "Thank you." She says. She looks so fragile and I take her into my arms and hug her, we stand like this for almost 5 minutes. "I don't want to let her go," I tell myself. I move my face into her hair and take in as much of her scent as I can, slowly I move down to her neck then I kiss her cheeks softly and move across to her mouth. Surprisingly, she doesn't pull away, my tongue finds hers. The kiss was slow and sensual and for that moment, I felt as if Bell was touching my soul.
