Chapter Twenty-One: Love~

Classic woke up to a warm feeling. He opened his eye sockets and yawned. He noticed that Red was still hugging him, sleeping peacefully and it made him blush but he didn't let go. He just snuggled closer with a smile on his face he didn:t knew he had. This made him feel warm, yes literally but also warm inside, he couldn't describe the feeling but he liked it even if it was new to him. It's been a while since he slept this peaceful. When he opened up to Red he felt nervous, scared even, but now it's like all the heavy weights on his shoulders have been lifted and it made him really comfortable around Red. He actually felt like he matters, he felt like he was cared about, he felt like someone understand him and it made him...happy for once.

"Ngghh..." Classic looked at Red noticing that he is starting to wake up. When Red opened his eyesockets he was greeted with a sweet smile on Classic's face, a real one. It made Red happy seeing Classic like this. It made him happy that Classic is happy, which never happened before, he never felt happy around other monsters before. Classic was the first monster who made him feel like this and it made him really happy. Red smiled back at Classic "Mornin sweetheart.." the nickname made Classic blush a little, yes he still feels that unknown feeling everytime Red calls him sweetheart. "Heh, mornin Red.." Classic answered, sitting up even if he didn't want to, he just didn't want Red to feel uncomfortable which was actually the opposite. He noticed that Reds face looks a little..red. He put his hand on his forehead, he's really hot...that sounded wrong.. Classic felt Reds face was warm and looks like he's having a fever and also has a band-aid near his chin making Classic ask, "Red, how did ya save me?" From what Classic remembered, he jumped from a cliff that who knows how tall? How could he possibly save him?! Red just smiled at him "I uhh, at first I tried to find ya but I couldn't use a shortcut so I had to go look around the waterfall but luckily a kid told me he saw ya so I rush to there. An echo flower repeated what ya told to yer self so I jump and stopped the time to catch ya and teleport ya to safety.." Red explained like it was nothing but to Classic it was everything, he was the reason that he is alive. Classic gave him a surprised look "Wait, ya stopped time?! Wasn't that exhausting?" Classic ask getting even more worried at him "Yeah Im still tired right now but its fine! Im fine just need to rest for a little, ya know" Red gave him a tired smile. It makes Classic wanna cry again but he will not let that happen. He was tired of crying anyway. A soft knock was heard from his door before opening, it's Papyrus.
"oh heya paps"
"HELLO BROTHER, HOW IS RED'S TEMPERATURE?"
"He's still hot..."
"Heh, always was~" Red smirked while Classic just shook his head, chuckling a little.
"OH NO, IT SEEMS THAT YOU ARE GOING TO YOUR STATION BY YOURSELF SANS... BUT! THIS TAUGHT YOU A GOOD LESSON! AND THAT IS TO NOT GET DRUNK AT GRILLBY'S! I AM GOING TO UNDYNE NOW, GOODBYE!" Papyrus waves goodbye before closing the door. Classic looked at Red "ya told him we went to grillby's?"  "Yup-Oh, uh.." Classic suddenly hugged Red catching him off guard "thanks again.."

Classic went downstairs to grab his ketchup and grabbed some mustard to give to Red then after that he'll go to his station again. Classic sat there at his station. Alone. Classic almost wasn't use to this silence before, usually he would try to sleep then be bothered by Red or they talk about their other AU's and other random stuff but now it's just quiet. He sighed after finishing his ketchup 'welp, guess I'll sleep then...' Classic closed his eyesockets and try to sleep, but all he could think about was Red. How Red is such an asshole but also can be really freakin sweet. How Red made him feel all this warm, fuzzy feelings. How Red smile and how he blush in embarrassment. How he care for him and made him happy. How adorable he is at times- wait..
Classic shook his head, why was he thinking about Red in a weird way? He was trying to sort out and understand these feelings but it was all new to him. Is this a disease related to skeletons? Is this normal? Maybe he'll just ask Alphys about this when they meet.

'Love huh.. So this is what it's like.. to be in love..' Red cringed. This is a little too much for him, he's starting to have a soft spot for Classy. He's not used to saying all these sweet n' gross stuff and yet here he is.. thinking about Classic. It feels like each hour he's falling for Classic even more. He did kinda accept the fact that Undyne might be right and he might be in love but WERE NOT SURE! So, he needs to ask a love expert and the only love expert he knows is Alphys, I mean she watches so many animes so she definitely knows something 'bout love right?

Yeah he's not gonna do that, that would be waay too embarrassing. Red put his hand on his shirt on where his soul is supposed. What if he did accept that he loves Classy? Classy wouldn't feel the same anyway so what's the point? I mean trying wouldn't hurt right? Nah, it will be awkward between the two and he didn't want that, Classic finally opened up! He didn't want Classic to feel uncomfortable again. Ohh what to do? What to do?

Red made a decision, and that is to let it be and see where this will take them. If he is in love -which we're still not sure of yet- then he would try to find out if Classic feels the same without him confessing. That's a plan right? Ughh, he doesn't know. All these newfound feelings are so wild he didn't know what to do. He's scared and happy and nervous and stressed and comfortable but awkward it just doesn't make any sense! Red let out a sigh and he hugged Classic's pillow.
