Chapter Fifteen: Friends!

Classic woke up and grumbled, trying to remember what happened yesterday but failing, he sighed and decided to ask Red about it later. He snuggled to the comfortable pillow and decided to sleep again but then he felt his pillow move which scared him a little. He slowly opened his eye sockets. He saw Red cuddled with him, sleeping. 'Oh, its just Red..' Classic yawned and closed his eye sockets again...

"........"

Then realization hit him like a bus making his eye sockets snap open, while he's sitting up in panic. 'W-wait, RED?! What is he doing in my room?!?' Classic tries again to remember but everytime he does all he could see are blurry pictures. Red felt the constant moving next to him which causes him to wake up a little "mmh, Stop movin' will ya? Im trying to sleeepp heeree..." Red turns to the other side which cause him to fall off the mattress and wake up, luckily the mattress is not that high so it didn't hurt. Red put his hand on his skull and stared at Classic, trying to understand what's happening. "Uh, oops, didn't mean to wake ya up buddy..." Classic said sympathetically "Nah it's fine.." Red sit up and sit next to Classic. "Sooo, heh, what uh.. happened yesterday?" Classic asked hoping he didn't do something embarrassing "Oh yeah, pfft- hahaha!!" Red started laughing remembering yesterday which made Classic even more nervous "Uhh, did I.. did something?" "Nah, Ya just started actin' like a brat when were about to leave grillbys pfft, 'Noo, I doont wanna!!' Hahaha!!" Red said while hes copying Classic's tone of voice yesterday which made Classic blush in embarrassment. Red saw this and decided to mess with him a little "oh! And when I picked ya up you started saying things like 'you're so cute and hot Red~' Hahaha!!" Red continued laughing as Classic's face turns into lightblue 'I said that?!'. Classic tries to hide his face and avoid Red. Red's laugh died down a bit and said "hEy!-haha, I was just messin' with ya!" Red said while bumping his elbows on Classic's " Y-You Idiot!! I really thought I.. humph!" Classic crossed his arms "aww, is my little sweetheart mad at me~?" Red teases which cause Classic to blush even more and look at Red with a surprised look.

"S-Sweetheart..?"
"Mh-hm~"
"Red your such a dork, also, we have the same height!"
"No we don't"
"Yes we do"
"No we don't"
"Yes we do"
"Prove it then.."
The two short-"Stop calling us short!"-uh, the two skeletons stand up and tries to see who's taller than who, and surprisingly Red is a little, just a few inches, taller than Classic. Red laughed victoriously "Told ya sweetheart~" Classic's soul would skip a beat everytime he hears Red call him sweetheart. He doesn't know why but, he, somehow, feels happy? He kinda like the nickname...

After a while they started feeling hungry so they went downstairs to eat. Classic was expecting his little brother Papyrus, but he wasn't there. Classic shrug and thought that maybe Papyrus stayed the night there. "Hey Red, what do ya want to eat?" Classic asked turning to Red who just shrug their shoulders "Anythin' edible" Classic went to the kitchen and decided made pancakes. Yes, pancakes. When Papyrus was just a small skeleton, Classic would always cook pancakes for his little brother for breakfast, he was actually good at it but, as they grow Papyrus was soon interested in pasta's so they decided to give it a try, and since then Papyrus would be the one to cook because of Classics laziness. Anyway, after cooking the pancake, Classic put it on the plate and as if on que there was a knock on the door, Red opened the door and it was Classic's brother Papyrus. "HELLO BROTHERS! SO, DID SOMETHING HAPPENED WHILE THE GREAT PAPYRUS WAS GONE?" Papyrus asked while stepping inside the house, Red looked at Classic, Classic shook his head as a sign of 'don't tell him'. Red nod his head and stayed quiet "Nothin' much happened Paps, also, look at what I made~" Classic said, Papyrus looked at the table which made him smile brighter than the sun "WOWIE! IT IS MY BROTHERS FAMOUS PANCAKES!! DID YOU, UM, MADE ME ONE AS WELL?" Papyrus asked Classic nod his head smiling that he made his brother happy, that's his only purpose anyway.
"Course I did"
"WOWIE! THANK YOU BROTHER!!"
And with that they start to eat, Classic made Red surprised that he can actually cook something, the last time Red tried it on his house (universe) it almost set the whole house on fire and Edge had to shout and cuss at him for being so reckless..

While at Classic's station Red remembered something Very, Very, Important. And that was Classics nightmares. Red wanted to talk about it and helped him but, he didn't know how. Red shook his head, stop being so scared and man up! Ya can't let this one slip! It's about your only friend that actually cares for you! Red decided to talk hoping he won't regret it. "Hey uh, Classic?" Classics eye sockets were closed because he was trying to sleep again "sup buddy?"  "Uhh.. I um.. You were.. uh.." Red sighed loudly, im so patethic. This whole 'talking about feelings and being nice' is still new to him that's all, you can'g just change at the snap of a finger anyway..
"Ya okay bud?"
"..I should be asking that question to you ya know.."
"Heh, what do ya mean?"
"Classic, ya don't need to hide it okay? You were having nightmares, Ya woke me up in the middle of the night saying things like 'not you too' and 'don't leave me please' over and over. You were whimpering and shaking I didn't knew what to do to ya!"
"......"
Classic stayed silent. Shit, he sounds so worried, Classic didn't like making monsters worry. Classic shook his head, Classic knew what to do, and that is what he usually do when monsters starts to worry about him. Push them away.
"Nah, it's nothin' Red. Its just nightmares they won't kill me or anything hehe.." Classic looked at Red with a smile while casually shrugging "Its not just 'nothin' Classic. When I met you I was already thinkin' that you have the perfect life among all AU's. Ya didn't have an abusive brother, ya didn't need to fight or hide every five seconds, and you have friends! I can'g sleep because of my fucking insomnia but ever since I started living here I noticed that Im gettin' better! Classic, ya helped me when I didn't asked ya too, let me do the same. Talk to me Classy.." Classic was surprised at Red, his tone of voice was different, he was serious, dead serious which made Classic mad at himself even more for being so careless 'what was I thinking?! Gettin drunk like I could just run away with my problems?! I caused even more problems because of that! I made Red worried! Ugh! Im so fucking stupid!!' Classic thought. "There's nothing wrong Red I swear, see?" Classic gave him a big smile but Red know that..

'Behind his bright smile holds the deepest secrets.. '

"Classic, ya can'g fool me but, if ya don't wanna talk I'll wait, I won't force ya. Just wanted you to know that Im here ok?" Classic's soul ache. His only purpose was to make everyone happy since that's all he can do yet here he is making them worried. He couldn't save others, he couldn't stop the human, if he opened up to him he would think he's pathetic, and maybe if your a 'sans' you should be able to move on from a genocide, no matter how  many times they do it. Classic believed that he was weak, if he tell him the reason why then Red would be disgusted by him and leave him. The thought of Red leaving him makes him want to just end his life, that's normal right? "Heh, t-totally uhh, thanks Red.." Classic stuttered Red just gave him a smile that melts his soul. A genuine smile 'heh, how do you do a genuine smile again? I don't remember how...' Classic thought but gave his usual smile to Red again "Hey Red?" Classic called "hmm?"  "Im going.. somewhere special, wanna come?" Classic asked "To where?"  "Secret~" "Sure, why not.." Classic used a shortcut to go there. They are on a place where there's no monsters somewhere in Waterfall, surrounded with blue echo flowers and blue mushrooms. Red stared in awe "Whoa, this is in waterfall right?" Classic nod his head. "I like to visit this place because its peaceful.." Classic lay down on the ground, Red followed, laying next to him "I like to stare at the stars, even if they aren't real.." Red starts to feel calm, no wonder why Classic like it so much. "..Do you like stars Red?" Red glanced at him blushing a little "Yeah.." Red is feeling something undescribable, something new towards Classic. He has the urge to protect him, to make him feel better, to make him happy, to hug him, to be there when he needs him, to comfort him, but, that's normal right? After all, they're friends right?
