Chapter Twenty Eight: Gone

Classic and Papyrus stands there and starred as Red and Edge slowly go far away. They went inside the house when both skeletons disapeared from the distance "WELL, WE NEED TO SLEEP NOW BROTHER! WE HAVE JOBS TO ATTEND!" Classic faced his brother, yawning "welp, goodnight bro.." "GOODNIGHT SANS.." both skeletons went to their own rooms and lay down on their beds. Classic was just laying there while starring on the pure, white, clean ceiling. He closed his eyesockets and tried to sleep.

"...."

But it feels like something is missing..
Or maybe someone. Classic turned to his left side and hugged a pillow, it feels so cold. He wrapped a blanket around him, but its still cold. He cant feel the warmth that Red makes him feel, its just cold. He feels like a big piece of him is missing. Could this be love? Is this one of the signs that he loves him? No, its not, if a close friend left you then you would feel the same way right? Yeah.. Red is just a close friend, thats all..

Red and Edge arrived in front of the portal. The portal casting a bright light, Red looked back. He looks at the trees behind him, he looks at the tiny town far from him. He will miss this place. Red faced the portal again and both of them stepped inside it. Everything was just bright light that it could blind anyone who will look at it but it was fast, he closed his eyesockets and opened them and now they are in Alphys lab. Red rubbed his closed eyesockets "oww.." he looked up and saw Undyne, Alphys and Edge starring at him to see if hes alright "It worked!! Your here!!" Alphys said excitedly jumping and clapping her hands "well yeah it did but..its kinda like waking up from a good dream.." Red mumbled "YOUR ALIVE!!!" Undyne shouted while slapping Red's head.
"oww! What the h3ll was that for?!"
"I was testing of this is a dream or not, I mean, you just fell off a FCKING CLIFF!!"
"shouldnt you slap yourself and not me?"
"Slapping you is better" Red rolled his eyesockets "sooo~ Reeeddd~ mind telling us who your boyfrieend is~??" Alphys teasingly said which made Red blush a little.
"were NOT dating!! Also, how the fck did ya know about Classic?!"
"With my excellent baby camera of course! I attached a tiny camera on Papyrus's battle gear! Unfortunately we can only see, not hear.. your boyfriend is really scary though~"
"WERE NOT DATING!!"
"Yeah, Alphys kept fangirling over you two idiots" Undyne chuckled which made Alphys blush.
"Were not gonna talk about that.." Alphys replied "why not? You shy~?" Undyne teased "ughh, will you two just kiss already?" Red said a little annoyed. Blush appeared on both of the girls faces "What?! I dont like her!"  "I dont like her in that way!" Red rolled his eyelights "suree.. anyway, is it still morning?" Undyne nod her head "Yup! And you both have a sentry job to do! Now shoo!" Undyne pushed Red and Edge to leave the lab. The door closes behinds them after "LETS GO HOME BROTHER.." Both skeletons arrived in snowdin by Red using a shortcut "WARN ME NEXT TIME.." "heh, sorry boss.." The air is filled with dust as well as the snow, just as how Red remembered "home sweet home.." Red sarcastically said "welp, gonna go ta my station now boss" Edge nod his head "GOODBYE SANS" "bye boss" Red walked through the ominous town, he herd some screaming, probably someone dying again. When he arrives at his station he went inside and sits down on the chair. He put both his hands behind his head and leaned on the chair.

"...."

He has no one to talk to, nor listen to.
Its so quiet and it feels so lonely without Classic. He looks around, trying to find something to do but he found nothing, so he did what he would do everyday, sleep.

When the morning came, Classic was woken up by Papyrus's loud voice, knoking on his door "BROTHER? SANS! WAKE UP BROTHER!"  "im up Paps!" He herd footsteps going downstairs. He sit up and sighed, last night he couldnt sleep, like, at all. It feels so cold and so empty without Red but he knows that he has to be patient, just be patient, Red will come back eventually.. Classic went downstairs and greeted his brother "mornin' Paps"  "GOODMORNING BROTHER!" Papyrus greeted, full of energy as always, Classic went to grab a ketchup but he saw a mustard beside it. He just smiled a little before grabbing the bottle of ketchup and drinking it.
"hey Paps, what do skeletons use to call another skeleton?" Papyrus glared at Classic "SANS NO.."
"..a tele-bone" Classic chuckled making Papyrus frown a little "SAAANNSSS!!" This made Classic laugh more "why did the skeleton slept outside?" Papyrus sighed and asked "WHY?"  "because he was a numbskull"  "OH MY GOSH SANS!" He continued telling puns until Papyrus left to go to Undyne. He used a shortcut to go to his station, he went inside and sits down on the chair, sighing "what should i do now..?" Classic sighed and decided to sleep to pass the time.

"WAKE UP SANS!" Red jolted awake and sit up "y-yes boss?" "YOU LAZY FCKING- *SIGHS*-ITS NIGHT ALREADY SANS, LETS GO HOME" Edge was trying his best not to cuss at Red, he is trying to change to be a better brother to him "sorry boss..." They walked to go to their house which Red hated, Edge told him that he needs to walk and not always relay to his magic and try to use his feet once in a while, Red just sighed and followed. When they arrived at their house Red immidietly sat down on the floor, exhausted. "WHY ARE YOU ON THE FLOOR SANS?" Edge asked while closing and locking the door, Red look up at his not-so-little brother "im allowed ta..?" Edge looked at his big brother and sighed "OF COURSE YOU ARE SANS..." Red smiled at Edge to which Edge returned. He rush to the brown couch and lay down on it "whoa,  this couch is actually comfortable!" Red sits up and looked at him "thanks Papyrus.."  "ITS NOTHING BROTHER.." Edge went to the kitchen to cook dinner while Red sat there, thinking, he knows that Edge is trying to change to be better and maybe going back here might be a good thing, their relationship as brothers might be fixed "AH SH1T!!" Red herd Edge shout making him snap back to reality, he rush to the kitchen and worriedly ask "boss you okay?!" Edge was holding his thumb tightly and nod his head "I AM ALRIGHT SANS, THE STUPID FCKING KNIFE JUST DECIDED TO KILL ME" Red remembers genocide, he frowns and shook his head. When the kid decided to do a genocide they finished it but they reset again to do a pacifist, when Red saw the kid again he told them "why the fck did ya come back?! to pretend that your a good person?! to pretend that yer not a murderer?! Leave. Now." And ever since that talk, the kid never came back. He shook his head, he doesnt need to remember that.. he grabbed the first aid that he always use everytime boss beat him up and punish him- stop it! Edge is changing, it may be slow progress but he is trying his best. He rush to the kitchen and gave Edge the kit, Edge took it "YOU KNOW I DONT NEED THIS SANS, ITS JUST A TINY SCRATCH.." "yeah boss but your HP is slowly dropping.." Edge checked his HP, its dropping but its very, very slow, Edge feels like Red is being overprotective "FINE.." Edge grabbed a bandage and wrapped it around his finger "THERE, I AM ALRIGHT NOW.." "good.." Red went to the couch again and layed there. After eating dinner they decided to go to sleep because it was getting late, bot of them went to their rooms and sleep except, Red didnt. Red cant sleep, he just layed there and stared at nothing remembering that he used to cuddle Classic while both of them drift off to sleep. A small smile appeared on his face, he misses him already. He knows that hes been denying and ignoring all the signs of him falling in love. He loves the way Classic makes him feel, when hes with him hes always happy, he just wanna hold him tight and cuddle him every night. He finds his reactions cute and entertaining, he loves the way he laugh and smile at him, he loves the way he worries for him, he loves his personality, everything! He loves everything about him so why keep denying? Why keep denying he likes him? Why keep ignoring what he wants deep down? Why keep saying that hes just a friend? He loves him, hes madly in love with him, he loves Classic more than a friend..

He wants and he needs Classic...
