After two days I'm finally released from the hospital. As I promised, I give my statement to the police, basically telling them that a vigilante, or something, came upon the scene. The person attacked Stain, cutting off his arm and was going to kill the villain but changed his mind midway. Since seconds later the rest of the heroes showed up, I tell the police that I suspect the vigilante had a quirk that allowed him to see the future. They believe my words and ask me a few more questions before letting me go.
I go back to Torino's place to finish the rest of my internship. As I step into the home, I see Gran Torino sitting at the table.
"Morning," I say politely.
He motions me to sit, "Care to explain exactly what happened?"
I am not surprised by his line of questioning. I knew this would be coming up sooner or later.
"Since I don't want the police to know, I told them a vigilante beat Stain."
"The truth?"
"I did,"
He doesn't seem shocked, which makes sense, considering. He nods in understanding and looks like he wants to ask more questions but before he can, I leave to train. I spend the rest of the week honing my skills and getting used to my body.
**Time Skip**
I enter my mom's apartment, knowing that she has to work late today since she sent me a text. I eat a quick meal then go to my room, sitting at my desk. I grab the notebook I have been writing my plans in, from a drawer and open it. I cross out the Stain incident and look at the next major event.
'The finals then the training camp huh?'
I look at the list of villains that had joined the camp raid.
'Toga, Spinner, Mustard, Mr. Compass, Twice, Dabi-'
I pause seeing that name.
'How could I forget!'
I growl in annoyance at my forgetfulness. I had been so focused on training that I neglected the very people I swore to save. I know he hasn't joined the league yet so I still have time but finding him should be my top priority.
If I don't pull him away from the LOV now, he'll be forced to do things he doesn't want to. I remember our first real meeting. It was when I was taken captive by AFO.
Flashback
My eyes slowly open. My entire body is battered and in pain from my latest 'lesson'. I don't even know how long I've been here for.
'Is anyone even looking for me?'
I quickly push those thoughts away and struggle to sit up. I prop myself against the back wall and close my eyes, resting for a moment. The sound of footsteps and someone being...dragged?...pulls me from my thoughts.
'I hope it's not AFO again, I don't think my body can handle another one of his sessions'
"You traitor!"
I look up in surprise at hearing Shigaraki's voice. Besides AFO no one else comes here. Wherever 'here' is. I feel a bit of relief too since it isn't my 'father'.
"I knew I should have never agreed to let you join!"
A new voice speaks, "I knew I never should have joined, to begin with."
'I recognize that voice! It's Dabi!"
"Well you did and now you have to deal with the consequences of betraying us."
