I kept my head down as I maneuvered my way through the school hallways, attempting to avoid, him. His locker was in this hallway, I knew it, he knew it, the entire school knew it. I wish I could avoid this hall, but my class just so happened to be at the end of it, and he knew it. My blood ran cold when I heard his laugh, but I didn't look up, I kept walking. My only hope being that I get through that door before he spots me. I was just a few more steps away from the classroom door when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"(Y/N)," he said into my ear, "Where ya going?"

He pulled me back by the handle at the top of my backpack before pushing me to the ground. The sound of the bell echoed through the hallway as everyone filed out. Everyone, except for him and his goons. They all looked down at me, chuckling safely from behind him. The cowards. I looked him in the eyes before looking down at the floor.

"Answer him." One of them growled at my lack of response

I let out a small growl of my own before I pulled my hands into fists and swiftly pushed myself towards him, decking him in the face. There were a few gasps from behind him as he stumbled back in surprise before looking back to me, surprise was written all over his face. I had never fought back until today.

I shook my hand for a second, allowing the feeling to return to it before I glared at him.

"Just leave me alone Clay," I muttered before I picked up my stuff and began to walk towards my class

I had only taken a few steps before two of his friends grabbed me, and pulled me back, turning my body in order to face Clay, who was now smiling.

"Are you kidding?" He said with a chuckle, "This just got interesting."

He nodded at his friends holding onto my arms and they let go. I looked at them, confused for a second before I saw his fist out of the corner of my eye. I quickly dodged, grabbing his arm as I moved and twisting it. His face recoiled in pain however he quickly recovered, pulling his arm along with me, causing myself to lose balance and fall to the floor. I managed to get myself to my feet just in time to dodge his incoming punch, but, I was unable to dodge his leg, which kicked me back to the ground. Once I was down, he got a few good hits in, managing to back me up against the lockers that sat against the wall. He smiled as he began to kick me continuously. As he kicked me, I felt the fighting spirit that I had gained from earlier quickly drain from my body and I held up my hands, trying to prevent the hard blows to my body. I quickly realized that the sleeves to my hoodie were sliding down my arm, but I couldn't do anything to prevent them from doing so. So, I let them fall.

The kicking stopped almost imminently once I felt my sleeves hit the crevices of my elbows. I looked up at Clay, who's eyes were stuck on the hellish state of my arms. Scattered along the surface of my skin were multiple bruises, cuts, and self-done stitches, a few of which had ripped due to Clay's attacks. Clay himself was still staring at my arms, which made me a little uncomfortable. I looked down, gently touched one of the ripped stitches, before standing up and glaring at him.

"Thanks a lot," I muttered before pulling my sleeves back down, picking up my stuff before I walked towards the classroom

None of them stopped me this time, allowing me to walk into the classroom. The teacher looked up at me and nodded in my direction. I nodded back and made my way to the back of the class where I belonged.
