"Why am I on babysitting duties?" mumbles Midoriya.

"Dude, chillax, he's not that bad," reassures Kirishima.

Midoriya glares at the half-dragon in the eye and points at the raging gremlin in front of them.

"This is the future leader of the clan," he says dramatically.

Kirishima shrugs. "Could be worse," he winks.

They hear explosions setting off. Midoriya groans.

"Kacchan, please! Your mom's gonna kill me!"

Kirishima laughs and flies to join Bakugo. Midoriya huffs in annoyance and runs to catch them.

When he arrives, he's out of breath. Kirishima stands beside him.

"You okay man?"

"Kirishima..." wheezes out Midoriya. "Can you please tell Kacchan to act properly?"

Kirishima smirks. "No can do bro," he shrugs. "When Katsuki's like this, nothing can stop him."

Midoriya stares at him, eyes wide open. He brings his hands to his hair and pulls it, internally screaming. This is going to end really badly. He hears a small groan of frustration vibrating in his throat and Kirishima turns to face him, patting his back.

"You ok? Do you need to like, sit down?"

"HEY LOSERS!" berates Bakugo.

"Oh no..." moans Midoriya, trying to locate the booming voice, hands still in his tangled hair.

He spots the future barbarian king on a hill, hands ready to explode anytime. His spiky hair flicks back and forth with the wind as he looks down on Midoriya and Kirishima.

"I'm gonna be a mighty king," he declares as he slides down. He grins, showing his teeth. "So enemies beware!"

Midoriya sighs.

"Well, I've never seen a king or beast with quite so little tact," he replies sarcastically.

"Midoriya!" warns Kirishima.

"I'm gonna be the main event," Bakugo continues, ignoring Midoriya's remark, "like no king was before."

He turns to face Midoriya. "I'm brushing up on looking down," Kirishima joins him, "I'm working on my roar!"

He roars with Kirishima who ends up laughing. Midoriya scoffs.

"Thus far, a rather uninspiring thing."

He hears the explosions before seeing Bakugo throwing himself in his direction.

"Time to go!" he yelps.

"Deku!!!" yells Bakugo.

Kirishima is restraining him, a nervous chuckle escapes him. Explosions are ignited left and right.

"Katsuki, please!" pleads Kirishima, a strong grip on the other boy's arms.

"Bye!" Midoriya runs.

Bakugo growls.

"Fine, fine, fine. Lemme go!"

Kirishima obeys and lets go of the feral child. Midoriya breathes heavingly, trying to catch his breath as his adrenaline rush calms down and he's more at ease with himself. He clears his throat.

"You've rather a long way to go, Kacchan, if you think-"

"No one saying, "do this"," cuts Bakugo with a grin.

Midoriya looks at him in disbelief. Honestly, he should stop being too surprised by Bakugo's lack of politeness. He stumbles on his words.

"Now when I said that, I-"
