It's a fresh Sunday morning and chatter can be heard from the main common area.
"Wait, you're actually studying?!" exclaims Kirishima, baffled.
"Well, duh," replies Ashido, papers and textbooks scatter around her.
"Who do you think we are, monsters?" adds Kaminari, a textbook in front of him. He's more playing with his eraser than actually reading.
Kirishima stutters incomprehensibly, a shocked look on his face.
"Relax," casually says Shinso, laying on the couch with his phone, "I'm here, I'm keeping an eye on Mineta and hey, they're really serious about this."
That is too much information for Kirishima. His mouth is open wide.
"W-wait, Mineta is awake?!"
Kaminari sighs. "Well yeah, he ran out of porn to watch so he decided to make himself breakfast."
Kirishima hums in response and sits on the other couch, staring at nothing. He shakes his head and looks at Shinso, pointing at him.
"What are you doing here?"
Shinso groans and closes his phone. He switches position to make himself more comfortable on the couch and stares into Kirishima's eyes.
"Kaminari called and said he needed help. It'd appear that Yaomomo was still sleeping and Jiro slammed her door on his face. Ashido offered to help but she didn't understand the homework either. So, yeah, that's why I'm here."
Kirishima nods, still unsure about the situation. Sounds of pots and pans can be heard from the kitchen. Shinso turns his head to view the kitchen and gives a thumb up to Kirishima. Kirishima sighs and relaxes on the couch, waiting for the kitchen to free up so that he can make himself breakfast.
After a couple of minutes, Mineta arrives with a plate full of pancakes and sits beside Kaminari, who is still pretending to read. He licks his lips and shoves one into his mouth. Kaminari scoffs at him.
"Dude, uh, rude."
Mineta shrugs. "My work, my food," he replies, his mouth full.
"Yuck." Ashido pulls her tongue out in disgust and scooches away from the two boys.
Steps can be heard from the stairs. Shinso lowers his phone to see the stairs clearly. He then drops his phone on the floor. The rest of the students perk up at the noise and their eyes land on the person who arrived. There's silence. No one dares to talk.
Bakugo is wearing a pink shirt, but not any kind of pink shirt. It's a faded pink, similar to Ashido's skin colour. The texture is clearly silk, his abs are showing underneath it. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows, showing his toned forearms, and the first two buttons are detached, his collarbone peeking, barely there, but still much very there. The jeans are not helping at all, making him a real-life model more than the angry gremlin he usually is. He walks past the group and heads for the kitchen.
Shinso peeks at the kitchen, making sure that the fans and the noises in the kitchen are keeping Bakugo busy.
"Oh. My. God." He mouths while whispering the words, eyes big with shock.
"Bakugo's wearing pink," panics Kaminari, pulling his hair out. "Bakugo's wearing pink!"
"Are we sure it's not a white shirt that's just been bloodied in a motorcycle crash?" Shinso asks, phone and sleeping position forgotten.
"Maybe it wasn't him." Kirishima looks at the kitchen, a small tremor on his voice. "Does he have a twin brother?"
"If Bakugo had a twin," replies Ashido with a deadpan face, "he would've eaten him in the womb."
Mineta stares at all of them. He stands up and holds his hands in front of him as if he was protecting himself.
"Wait, hold it, stop." Everyone turns their head to see him. "How come none of you tease him about it?" he asks sounding defeated.
"It's Bakugo, man," replies Kamianri as if it was obvious. "He's scary."
Mineta chokes on his saliva, gaping at all of them.
"You guys are unbelievable!" he exclaims. "I once wore my tie with a splash of purple. You guys called me "Mister Grapes" for five months!"
Ashido snorts, hiding her laughter. Kirishima chuckles while Shinso and Kaminari are not afraid to laugh in his face. That encourages Ashido to curl on herself, trying to control her belly laugh.
"Oh! Mister Grapes," she reminiscents. "I forgot about Mister Grapes!"
Her laughter dies down, along with the rest of them.
Mineta scoffs. "If I wore a pink shirt, you'd tear me into shreds!"
"Well, yeah," Kaminari says between laughs, "but you'd look like My Little Pony with a gun."
The room laughs again. Kaminari and Ashido are using each other to support themselves, Kirishima is holding the armrest and Shinso is back in a sleeping position, holding his stomach as if it hurt.
"Let me guess," Kirishima wipes a tear of joy. "Your theatre club is put it on Grease and you were playing a pink lady?"
They laugh again. Mineta is glaring at them, clearly not enjoying the laughing matter.
"Nice!" exclaims Ashido between laughs.
"Good one!" says Shinso after he calms down a bit.
"That's good," agrees Kaminari.
"What are you guys laughing at?" asks a rough voice.
The room is semi-silent, except for Kaminari who is still trying to calm down.
"If Mineta was wearing a pink shirt," he replies as casually as he can. Mineta gives him a look of disbelief.
"I get it," Bakugo crosses his arms, his muscular forearms resting, a big smirk on his face. "That's hilarious."
"What's happening?!" yells Mineta, shock cracking his voice. "Bakugo's the one wearing pink!" He points accusingly.
The room is silent. Bakugo turns to face him and unfolds his arm, glaring at him. "And?"
Mineta gulps, regretting his life decisions. He has faced many villains but no one manages to make him pee in his pants. Somehow, Bakugo did. He clears his throat.
"It's gorgeous," he says nervously, admitting defeat. "Wish I could pull that off."
Bakugo smirks again and crosses his arm. Those damn forearms are going to be the death of someone one day. "Dream on, strawberry shortcake."
"Yeah, nice try Mister Grapes!" agrees Kaminari, getting the tension off the room.
The students laugh once more, except Mineta who looks like the world took a dark turn for the worst.
"Mister Grapes!" everyone repeats.
If only Midoriya was there to defend him. He would've understood his pain. At least, that's what Mineta likes to think sometimes.
Not gonna lie, writing this was pretty fun. Yes, all that hot imagery about Bakugo was me simping for a buff guy, what can I say, even I have weaknesses. If only Bakugo was like Rosa, maybe then I would've liked his character a bit more. This was inspired by Brooklyn Nine-Nine and it was created Dan Goor and Micheal Shur.
Next up, Eri asks a very good question.
