Lapis: Th-this can't be true.
[Visibly desperate, Lapis uses the water cannon again, and fires rapid bursts of water cannonballs at Obsidian.]
Lapis: Take this!
Obsidian: We'd better put an end to this as soon as possible.
[Obsidian runs up to Lapis while dodging her attacks.]
Lapis: *shocked* What the--?!
[Obsidian destroys the water cannon with a single punch, then grabs Lapis with one of their left hands.]
Lapis: NO!!
Obsidian: Gotcha!
Lapis: LET GO OF ME!!
Obsidian: All right, time to get your memories back!
Lapis: *struggling to break free* Let me go!
Obsidian: Not until you're yourself again.
Lapis: Fine, have it your way. You asked for it. *whispers to herself*
Obsidian: Okay, where do we start?
[The whole area suddenly begins to rumble and shake intensely.]
Obsidian: Tch. Now what?
[The ground begins to break open, forming a gigantic fissure just below Obsidian.]
Obsidian: *looks down* What the--?!
[Obsidian leaps away from the fissure.]
Obsidian: ...
[Obsidian looks around and watches in bewilderment as huge cracks form all over the area, from which a large amount of water gushes violently and then rises into the sky.]
Obsidian: Huh?!
[The palace and its surroundings are being destroyed, while White Diamond's ship topples over and falls into a crater, being buried by the debris.]
Obsidian: Wh-what's going on?!
[Just then, the environment gradually gets darker and darker, Obsidian looks up and is stunned to see a colossal water sphere forming in the sky just above them.]
Obsidian: What's that!? *glares at Lapis* What are you doing?!
Lapis: I said I was going to crush you, and I'm going to do it one way or another! Now then, let's see if you can bear the weight of all the water on the planet!
Obsidian: Hold on, are you nuts?! You're gonna crush everyone, including yourself!
Lapis: That's a risk I'm willing to take.
Obsidian: You can't be serious.
[The whole area rumbles and shakes violently due to the water that gushes everywhere, causing the collapse of large gem buildings that leave nothing but debris.]
【At the same time.】
[Bluebird and the others are on top of a building, which is beginning to collapse.]
Bluebird: *in fear* Lazuli's lost her mind!!
[The building collapses on the left side, taking the Gems of Jasper's squad with it into the abyss.]
Jasper: My Gems!
[Jasper shouted as she watched them fall into the abyss.]
Mean Lapis: Weren't those Gems our long-awaited reinforcements?
Bluebird: Yep.
Mean Lapis: They didn't do shit! What did they come for in the first place?!
Bluebird: Plot conveniences, I guess.
[The building is about to collapse completely.]
Holly Blue Agate: We gotta get out of here ASAP!
Bluebird: Right.
[Bluebird says as she summons her wings.]
Bluebird: Every Gem for herself!!
[Bluebird swiftly flies off into the skies.]
Holly Blue Agate: Hey!
Mean Lapis: Sorry but I'm leaving, too.
[Mean Lapis summons her water wings and flies off instantly.]
Spinel: Don't leave us here!
Holly Blue Agate: We can't fly like you two!
Jasper: *angered* GET BACK HERE, YOU COWARDS!!
[Both Gems are seen flying away.]
Bluebird: *flies over to Mean Lapis* Yo, Lazuli.
Mean Lapis: What is it?
Bluebird: Save Jasper, she's the strongest quartz soldier I know, she can be useful to us later on.
Mean Lapis: Is that so? Then you save her.
Bluebird: No, I want YOU to save her! Don't argue with me, Lazuli, just do it!
Mean Lapis: Ugh, fine.
[Mean Lapis flies back for Jasper, picking her up as she flies out of there.]
Mean Lapis: You okay like this?
Jasper: Mhm. Let's just get out of here!
Spinel: And who's going to save US?!
Bluebird: YOURSELVES! *waves goodbye* Adios!
[Bluebird says as she, Mean Lapis, and Jasper fly away from danger.]
Holly Blue Agate: Those fucking bastards just abandoned us!
Spinel: Why do I feel like I've just had a deja vu?
[The building suddenly collapses completely, burying Holly Blue Agate and Spinel in the rubble.]
【Simultaneously...】
[Bluebird, Jasper and Mean Lapis are already far from danger, although the latter is seen desperately looking around.]
Mean Lapis: *looking around* Where is she?! I don't see her anywhere! Where the fuck is she?!
Bluebird: Hey, what's gotten into you?
Mean Lapis: My partner, she's in enemy hands! I'm worried she got's hurt because of that lunatic Lapis!
Bluebird: The only thing you're worried about is her getting her memories back, or am I wrong?
Mean Lapis: I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about that, but I'm much more worried about her safety!
