Warning- Contains slightly subtle scenes where you can kind of guess what happened. They're really mild, though, but just a warning. Sorry if it well, alarms anyone.

Also note that, in this book Chaddick and Beatrix's wedding took place before they left school in The Last Ever After (TLEA) or at the beginning of Quests for Glory (QFG). Enjoy!

In a beautiful mansion in Jaunt Jolie, you often saw a lone girl wandering the grounds, occasionally accompanied by her mother.

Soon after Beatrix and Chaddick's marriage, Beatrix as a leader of her quest, had to protect her home kingdom of Jaunt Jolie from marauding pirates, and Chaddick as a sidekick had to help Tedros rebuild the kingdom of Camelot into the wonderful place it was once.

Six months after Tedros' coronation, Chaddick had come to Jaunt Jolie following the lead of the snake, and in frustration, knowing some evidence but not knowing what was going on and where the leads he'd found to, led.

Remembering Beatrix's address from their letters, he came to the large mansion where, she, Reena, Flavia, Oliver and the rest of their quest mates were living. He stayed the night there, getting his facts together and talking to everyone there about a few clues, and what their thoughts were.

Then he left Jaunt Jolie the next morning, his mind having pieced together the clues and what these facts and leads meant the previous night, and ready to track the villain down to where the next attack should be.

Beatrix, had farewelled him with a kiss and a long wave, not knowing that, that would be the last time she saw her beloved Chaddick.

In the next few months, she realised she'd fallen pregnant, and not wanting to alarm her friends of her safety, cast a spell to make her stomach flat, and used magic to delay the birth of the child.

A week after Agatha's marriage to Tedros, when everything had calmed, Beatrix's babies were born, twins, a small boy she named Chaddick Tedros, named after her lover and his best mate and liege. Chaddick inherited his father's loyal, charming, brave, sporty character and trusty swordsmanship and brilliant archery. He had his mother's topaz eyes however.

A girl named Ella was the other twin. She was named after Beatrix's favourite princess. Ella inherited her mother's long blonde hair, tall, slender frame, and her love of animals, fashion, singing and her instant popularity. However her eyes resembled her father's, a twinkling grey, and she was known to be quite fearless and able to deal well under stress.

Ella, Beatrix and Chaddick were always extremely close, Ella and Chaddick caring a lot about their mother, and learning quickly that the wounds of their father's death were still quite raw and near to their mother's heart. Learning more about his courage and sacrifice at school helped them understand.

Although the topic of their father was rarely talked about, they celebrated his birthday, and on his death date, they all visited the graveyard of kings where he was buried.
