Kiko's dream

In a cute little cottage in the countryside a family of six lived. I had given birth to four children, all whom I loved.

The eldest was a boy named Chaddick. He looked like his father with his ginger hair and dreamy blue eyes and was a brilliant sword fighter and had a brave and kind spirit.

The second eldest was a girl named Agatha who looked exactly like me. She was just as cute and sweet with my chocolate curls and adorable eyes. But she was much smarter.

The third eldest was a boy named Nicholas. He looked like me with my brown curls but blue eyes. He had great archery skills and his fathers protective spirit as well as my compassion.

The youngest was a girl named Lily named after my mother. She had long ginger hair and brown eyes. She was enthusiastic, kind and brave, and was better at casting spells.

The siblings were all very kind and caring to each other.

Well that above was my dream.

But in this world, dreams don't always come out perfectly and sadly mine didn't.

I lived in a cottage near Glass Mountain, and day in, day out, alone I would pick apples and tend to the orchard. I had grown to love it, and enjoyed taking care of it, but I felt that... I wanted more. I wanted love and a family, just like my dreams.

And everyone laughed, calling me cute for dreaming or pitied me, feeling sad for someone that couldn't let go of what could have been, and dead lovers. But what they didn't understand, was that my optimism, imagination and dreams was the only thing that I clung onto in life, the only thing that held me back from farewelling the fair orchard and jumping of the high cliff nest to it, into the freezing seawater, taking my own life. Without my dreams, I would be long gone.

But still sometimes I wished I wasn't so naive, and that I burst out of pretending it was all ok, and plucked up the courage to ask somebody for help.

But that day hadn't come yet, so I would wait and continue my life until it did.

But still,

I could dream.
