Family Reunion pt. 2

"Lets get into the castle now! Imagine roaming in your own parent's castle while they're asleep!" Leona whispered, evil plots, no doubt coming into her shed.

For the first time Clarissa looked sheepish.

"But...like...I don't know...maybe it's.... you, know, locked?" She stammered.

But the triplets weren't dim-witted.

"What's in there?!" They all demanded at once, suspicious.

"Well...like...you know...Oh whatever, scratch that. You know how we're a bit wary of some kingdom that's a bit unfriendly to us? We got special security measures and Mum and Dad got some dumb Love Lock."

"What?! Is this what I think it is?" Leona whisper-screeched.

Clarissa reluctantly nodded, flinching.

For those who don't know, a Love Lock is a lock where you have to say your crush or love out loud for it to open. It scans you with magic and lets you in if you're truthful, but if you whisper it or mumble it, even if its your true crush, it won't let you in because you were embarrassed and didn't want to say it, and you should be proud of who you love.

A chorus of "Not going in" followed that.

Suddenly Clarissa was aware that everyone was here.

She blushed and mumbled that maybe they should try instead of giving up so fast.

"If you're so confident, then you go first." Ella squeaked, terrified.

Clarissa sent a lethal death glare that could have killed someone her way.

 "Fine." She said venomously and stomped off towards the entrance.

Unfortunately, no matter how speedy and dramatic her exit may have been, everyone still followed, keen to know who Book-wormish, introverted Clarissa had a crush on. Clarissa internally groaned, nerves rising, as she watched the crowd gather behind her.

"I'll do it with you." Beatrice called out, suddenly.

Clarissa prepared to turn on her heel and hug Beatrice giving her most sunny smile she could possibly form. But couldn't because Arthur and his friends had surrounded her leaving Beatrice with no way out. She looked apologetically up at Clarissa.

Glaring at Arthur before huffing and turning around, Clarissa walked back to the entrance.

 "Chaddick." She said loud and clear to the pink lock.

With a click the door opened and Clarissa ran in, bashful to the bone, leaving a happy but shell-shocked Chaddick behind. A murmur of "told you" passed through the crowd.

The next person to the entrance was Arthur. He took a deep breath.

"Leona." He said, then stepped in, leaving Leona hiding behind her thick, black curtains of hair, secretly blushing.

Then, Sophie walked to the door.

"Robert." She said, before turning around and seeing Robert beam at her. 

"I have a crush on him because of his character." She said as people whispered disapproval and in some cases disgust.

The minute after she disappeared inside Robert thundered up the steps.

 "Sophie, Sophie, Sophie!" He bellowed to the pink lock, as the door creaked open covering the sounds of all the gagging noises down below.

It was Sophie's twin's turn after that. They ran up the steps and in matching lovesick tones said "Arthur" and "Chaddick". Vanessa ran in as soon as the door was open, blowing a kiss to Arthur, while Leonora spun on her heel, blew a kiss and air-hugged Chaddick and saying "See you in a minute, babe." Chaddick looked sort of disgusted.

It was then Kaveen's go.

"Ani." He said and gave her a charming smile before entering. All Ani could stutter was "S-stupid idiot." Before she smiled goofily.

Beatrice then walked up and with a shy smile she called out the name of Oliver's son, who had a strange name which no one seemed to remember. She then disappeared inside.

Chaddick then ran to the door. 

"Clarissa!" He yelled and barged the door before it even opened.

Ella said the name of some unknown Ever boy, giggling to herself and skipping away in.

Finally Leona went up and became amazingly embarrassed.

 "Arthur." She murmured feeling very un-villain like and ashamed of herself.

Because of this the door took some more time to open. That was before Leona lost her cool.

 "I like Arthur, now open up!" She yelled.

Dottie then came up and said Ravan and Arachne's son which had some weird name.

Finally there was Ani. Blushing like a beetroot she came up the stairs.

"Kaveen." She said, before repeating louder so the door opened.

How surprised she must have been when she came inside.
