I get confuse when people say set me free when they want to get out of a relationship.

Why would they want to be free from love?

Did it cut their wings off
that they couldn't fly
or choke them
that they couldn't breathe
or muffle their voice
that they couldn't speak?

If it did then perhaps, it wasn't love at all because love is suppose to be freeing, not a testament of your relinquishment.
