Chapter 1

A/N: I just want to start off by saying that I'm really late to the Lucaya fanfiction world, but I've recently watched all of GMW multiple times on Disney+ and I really love it and love Lucaya, they should've been endgame. Anyway, this story is if in Girl Meets Texas Part 1 when Maya says she'll never speak to Lucas again, she actually stops talking to him I don't expect people to read this, but if they do, I'll be happy. I hope you enjoy!

Lucas's POV

"If you do this, I will never speak to you again." she said as she ran off. I was shocked, Maya was serious, but I had to do this for my Pappy Joe. I couldn't let him down. I really wanted Maya to watch but I didn't have time to fight with her and if I did, I know I'd lose.

"I gotta go find her." Riley said. "Actually Riley, I'd really like you to watch." I said and a look of a little disappointment came across Riley's face, "Then I will." she said. "And now, the main event! Lucas Friar tangles with Tombstone!" as that beamed over the intercom we headed toward the ring. I really wanted to go find Maya but first, I had to potentially die.

Maya's POV

I ran off, I couldn't stand to be there anymore, Lucas was prepared to potentially die just to impress his Pappy Joe! I apparently wasn't going to stop him so I couldn't watch. I could still hear what was happening and could just barely see. I watched as he rode that bull. I was scared to death something was going to happen to him. I seen him hit the dirt and I thought something happened to him.

Lucas's POV

I got on that bull and boy did I ride it too. But then he bucked me off and I slammed against the dirt, my mind went fuzzy. Riley ran over to me, I could tell she was scared something happened to me. She and Zay stood me up and made sure I was ok, I was sure I hadn't broken anything. "You sure you're ok?" Riley said. "Yes, Riley, I'm fine." I said as she ran to find her.
