Chapter 23

A/N: This is the second to last chapter, this is the second half of the last chapter, the chapter after this will be the last chapter, but I've decided that I like this story too much to end it so I will be doing a sequel, I'm not sure what to call it and it should be coming out sometime next month. I might post both chapters out tonight because I'm just really excited for you guys to read it. Thank you guys so much for everything. I hope you enjoy!

Maya's POV

I got up and I answered the door and you wouldn't believe who was standing there. 

"Mom, dad? What are you guys doing here?!?!" I said. I wasn't happy, I was shocked, my mother left months ago, and my father left years ago, now they were both standing right in front of me. I didn't really know how to feel. "Hey baby girl, how are you?" She asked. "No, mom, dad, you don't just get to come in here again and act like nothing happened, you either leave or you sit here and don't interrupt my baby shower where the people that actually care about me are!" 

I said, now I was upset, she thought she could just walk in here and act like nothing happened, this was not happening. "I am your mother, you do not speak to me like that!" She yelled. "Mother, in these last few months, I've had to grow up very quickly, you left and in about a month, I'll be a mother myself! I have every right to treat you like I just did, you were, I don't even know, scared, upset, but you left, you deserve everything that just happened, now I would appreciate it if you left." 

She slammed the door as she left, I could tell she was angry, but honestly, I didn't care. After she left, everything was great, I finished opening all of my presents and since it was almost Christmas, we watched a couple Christmas movies and then people left. Lucas took me home, I was exhausted, my back hurt, a lot of things hurt, I just wanted to go to sleep. I was so tired I fell asleep in the truck.

Lucas seen that I was asleep and decided not to wake me up, he was strong, so he carried me to bed from the truck bridal style and the rest of the night was great, I got a lot of sleep. My life was great, aside from the drama with my mother.

*28 Weeks*

I had agreed to let my mother explain why she left today. I had decided maybe she had an actually good explanation as to why she left. Lucas went to hang out with Zay because he hadn't done that in a while and I was really happy that Riley and Farkle were going on their first date, and my dad was with Cory because they haven't hung out in a while. The doorbell rang and I knew that it was my mom.

"Mom." I said as I opened the door. "Hi Maya." I let her inside and she and I went inside. "Mom, before you say anything, I have a lot of questions for you." I said. "Baby girl, I know you do." She said. "First thing, you left, you don't get to call me 'Baby Girl' right now." I said. "Fine." 

"Alright, actual first thing, why did you leave, it seemed like you couldn't have left in more of a hurry." I said. "Maya, I left because I was scared, I didn't want you to end up like I did." She said. "So you decided that it would be a good idea to leave me in the time where all I needed was support?" I asked. "Maya, at that time, I wasn't thinking straight, you had just told me you were pregnant and I was kinda angry, so I went to go find your father." She said. "Mom, you left my father." I said.

"No Maya, your biological father, I went to go find him because I thought he would help." She said. "Mom, Kermit wouldn't help me one bit, Shawn is the best father I could ever have, he's the one who stayed, you left." I said. "Maya, I told you I was sorry, how else can I say it, when will you forgive me?" She asked. "Mom, I'm sorry, but I probably will never forgive you for this." I said. "Well, I'm still going to say I'm-" "Ow!" I said accidentally interrupting her. "Are you ok?" She asked. 

"Yeah, mom, I think it's just the babies kicking." I said. "Wait, babies, there are more than one?" She asked. "Yeah, mom I told you about that when I told you." I said. "Oh, I guess I just got all caught up and forgot." She said. "Oh." I said, I was a little sad. "Ok, well I think I should go now." She said. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea." I said. I stood up to walk her out and as soon as I stood up, liquid just gushed down my leg, it felt like I had peed myself. "Uh oh." I said. "What Maya-oh, oh no, Maya, is that what I think it is?"

A/N: I'm sorry I left it on another cliffhanger, but I feel like this one is really easy to figure out, I should be posting the next chapter in a few hours. That's all I have to say for now.
