Chapter 24

A/N: This is the last chapter of this book and I am so happy that you all have enjoyed it. It did so much better than I thought it would. I started out writing this for fun and it turned into all of this. I'm going to save most of what I have to say for the end, so I hope you enjoy!

Maya's POV

"Maya, is that what I think it is?" She asked. "Mom, I think my water just broke." I said. "Maya, we need to get to the hospital." She said. "Ok, I have to call Lucas." I said. "Maya, we don't have time for that, I'll call Lucas, you get to the car, now!" She said. I went down to my mom's car as fast as my very heavily pregnant body could take me.

Katy's POV

"Lucas, Maya's in labor, you need to meet me at the hospital, I'm on my way."

"Mrs. Hunter, I'm scared."

"I know you are Lucas, everything is going to be ok, things are going to be great, now I need you to meet me at the hospital, ok?" 

"Ok, bye, see you there." 

I hung up the phone and rushed out to the car to get to the hospital. I got to the hospital as fast as I could. "Excuse me, can I get some help, my daughter is in labor!" I yelled. Some nurses or doctors, I'm not sure which, but they rushed her to a room and they told me to wait. Lucas came through the door and immediately followed them. I was just left here to wait.

Lucas's POV

It was like I was in a dream, I was about to be a father of three, it was all so surreal to me. Was I scared, hell yes. Was I happy and excited, absolutely. I was going to start a family with Maya today, I love her so much and I can tell I'm going to love these babies with my everything. 

Maya was in a lot of pain right now and I wasn't sure what to do, all I could do was hold her hand and just be there. She was about to get an epidural considering how much pain she was in right now. She had an IV in her arm as well and she was barely able to keep her eyes open. It was really hard to see her like this, I called Riley even though I should have as soon as I hung up with Katy.

"Riley, yeah this is important, Maya's in labor."

"But Lucas, she's not due for another month."

"That doesn't matter, Maya is right next to me in labor, I need you to get here now!" 

"Ok Lucas, I'm on my way, don't yell at me please."

"I'm sorry, you just need to get here, quick." 

Riley's POV

Oh my gosh, Maya's in labor, this isn't a drill, I was going to be an aunt today, I needed to go to get a baby book, I know Maya probably doesn't think that she needs one, but everyone that is in that delivery room and everyone that comes in the room after they're born is going to write something in it. I called Lucas back to see if they had a hospital bag.

"Hey, do you guys have a hospital bag?"

"Um, I don't think so, why?"

"That's all I need, I should be there in 30, ok?"

"Ok, but hurry."

I went to the book store and bought a baby book then I stopped by Maya's apartment to get her stuff to bring it too the hospital. I tried to get to the hospital fast, but New York traffic wasn't good right now, I didn't want to miss the but I couldn't help traffic, it was taking forever.

*About 30 minutes goes by*

"Riley, they said she's at 8 centimeters and she needs 10, where are you?"
