Chapter 6

A/N: Thank you guys so so much for over 100 reads, I didn't really think that this story was gonna go anywhere because GMW ended almost 4 years ago, but here I am with over 100 reads, thank you guys so much, I love you all! I published after school like I said I would, it took me a little while, my phone and tablet are in my mom's car, but I kicked my sister off the computer to post because I keep my word. I hope you enjoy this chapter.

*The next day*

Lucas's POV

Maya hasn't talked to me since yesterday before the rodeo and she ran off. I'm starting to get worried. I get that she said that she wasn't going to speak to me ever again, but I didn't think she was serious. I see Riley and run up to her. "Where's Maya, she hasn't talked to me since yesterday?" I asked when I got up to Riley. "She's in the field next to your Pappy Joe's house, I don't know if she's going to tell you yet or not, but she has something she needs to talk to you about." Riley says. "Ok, I'm going to go find her."

I found Maya, she was right where Riley said she'd be. "Hey Maya." I say to her sitting down next to her. "I told you I'm not talking to you right now." she said sternly. "Maya, Riley said you had something you needed to tell me." I said. "I don't know if I'm ready to tell you yet." she said to me disappointed. "Maya you know you can tell me anything." I said in a pleading tone. "Lucas, you could've gotten hurt on that stupid bull!" she practically yelled. "But I didn't." I said trying to calm her down, but that didn't work. "But you could've, and if you did, what do you think that would've done to the people who care about you because I care about you a lot and I especially need you now more than ever." she said "Why now more than ever?" I asked. "Well, because..." She trailed off. 

Maya's POV

"Well what, you know you can tell me anything, Maya." He said and I just stared at him as tears started to fill my eyes. "Lucas, I'm pregnant." I said tears started streaming down my face. "YOU ARE?" He yelled. "Yes, I am, I took two tests." I said sobbing. "Are you mad?" I asked. "Maya how could I be mad, am I definitely shocked, but mad, never." He said. "But Maya, what are we gonna do? I want you to know that just because you're pregnant, doesn't mean I'm gonna leave you, I'm gonna be here with you through all of this." He said which made me start to cry again. "Lucas, I'm not really sure what I'm gonna do, I just have so much running through my head right now. I couldn't be more thankful that you aren't leaving. I guess we can decide what I'm gonna do after we tell our parents, not that what they want is necessarily what I want, but I'd like to tell them before I decide." I said, my tears starting to go away. "Maya I think we definitely need to tell our parents, but I'm scared." He said as he started to freak out. "Lucas, you don't think I'm scared too?" I asked in a calming tone. "Maya I know you're scared, maybe we should wait a little while, I mean, how far along can you be?" He asked. "I'm not sure, I need to make an appointment with the doctor." I said thinking of how I was gonna do that. "Well, we have at least a couple of weeks to tell them." I said hopefully. 

I think maybe I can tell Topanga when we get back, maybe she will be able to help me. I definitely think Topanga will respond better to it than Shawn and my mom will. I will definitely tell them within the next 3 weeks, I need to set up an appointment with the doctor to confirm what I already know. I'm really scared, I have to tell Farkle and Zay now, I won't be able to keep that secret at all, they're my friends. I call Farkle, "Hey Farkle, you, Zay, me, Riley, and Lucas are gonna go to Chubbies in about half an hour and eat and then we're going to meet back at the firepit because I need to tell you guys something.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, it's my longest chapter yet. I had fun writing this chapter and I'm really excited to see where I go with this story because, tbh, I just thought this  idea up in my head and now, I'm not quite sure where I'm gonna take it, again I hope you guys enjoyed.
