Chapter One | Escape
She was looking for peace. Looking for a place to be alone where she could listen to some good music and read some book.
That's exactly why every day before the sun rises she tip toed in front of her fathers room and got out of the house with her book and ipod in her hands.
Circumstances were not a problem for her, or maybe you can say it was such a big problem that she couldn't care about it anymore, being used to it.
No matter what the circumstances were, she never missed a day of getting out of the house before the sunrise, and going to a park where she would enjoy music, book and watching sun rise.
She savoured her few hours of freedom and solitude. Those few hours that she spent by herself were the only good part of the day.
Amazon Park.
As soon as she reached this park —— which took about ten minutes of walking ——- she took a place under a tree putting ear buds in her ears and listening to music as she gradually started reading the book that she brings with herself.
She almost bought a different book with her every day.
The park consisted of different usual people doing their different usual activities. Kids cycling, playing, old people talking and chatting around, jogging, gossiping and so on.
But no body disturbed her as she took her usual place by near the third tree at one of the most corner of the park.
She was used to being alone so much that she was shocked to see a boy, who was probably her age sitting under the tree this morning when she got there.
-
He was looking for someone who could understand his pain. Who could help him out of his misery.
He wanted to be helped but he did not want to tell anyone why he needed help. That's just the way he was.
All his days were spent laying inside his bed as he hardly ate anything or got out of his room. He just heard glasses shattering from downstairs as he bawled his eyes out.
He was a coward and a pathatic excuse of human being, or at least that's exactly what he thought.
But this morning, he considered something. He thought about getting up and going out. Not to his old friends who were currantly constantly blowing his phone with calls and texts but to somwhere new. Somewhere he would find peace.
So he got up from his bed, took his sketchpad and pencil box. He glanced at the reflection of him in the mirror, fully aware of his full red eyes. He took his leather jacket as he silently walked downstairs noticing some shouts coming from his parents room as he just moved out without any furthur delay.
He didn't need to have breakfast, his appatite was lost.
Not that anyone cared though.
So he kept walking looking for somewhere that would calm him down, and snatch some of his pressure away.
Then he saw a Park. Amazon Park.
He didn't think about it any furthur, instead he just went and sat down beneath the third tree at one of the corners of the park.
Fifteen minutes later when the sun was just starting to rise, even though he had his eyes closed he sensed and heard some footsteps coming towards him which forced him to open his eyes.
There he saw a girl looking at him with a scared and worried look on her face.
He was not the type to pass a smile or talk to anyone, but something inside him made him smile at her, which she took as a hello and welcome considering the fact that she was sitting next to him the next moment, opening the book in her hand.
Maybe they knew, that they were going to help each other escape the reality.
