Blinded By Expectations

In denial

Agad akong nagising nang may naglapag sa akin sa isang malambot na kama. Amoy palang alam ko na kung kanino ito.

"Anong bang problema mo Leon!? " Bumangon ako ng kaunti. Kahit lasing ako alam ko kung anong nangyayari sa paligid ko.

I saw Leon removing his tuxedo. Tanging polo nalang na bukas lahat ng butones at pants ang   natira.

He immediately went infront of me and put his arms beside me side by side to face me intently.

"You're making out with your Ex? Is that an act of a decent woman?"

"SO WHAT LEON!? I'm Single ! You don't even like me for fucks sake! What did I do wrong !? " I said trying to provoke him. I lied because I accidentaly tripped on his legs.

Tumayo siya at lumakad nalang papalayo para tanggalin ng tuluyan ang ang kaniyang polo.

I immediately went to him and held his wrist to stop him from going to the bathroom.

"Answer me! Why? You always giving me hints that obviously you're inlove with me, Not that I am assuming, but it's the truth" I face him intently just an inch between our face.

"You're getting far from our topic george." Nagpumiglas siya sa hawak ko at tinalikuran nalang ako para tumungo sa banyo.

"Ugh! You're a coward" I shouted as he entered the shower room.

Nahiga nalang ako habang minamasahe ang ulo ko. Wala na akong pakialam sa mga nangyari kanina basta ang alam ko lang, Gusto ko na magpahinga.

I removed my halter dress enough to expose my langerie. Tinakluban ko nalang ng kumot ang aking katawan at pinikit ko ang aking mga mata.

I woke up with Leon beside me at sa gulat ko ay meron na akong damit na suot. Maybe Leon did it last night. Sanay naman siya kapag nalalasing ako kaya siya na nagbibihis sa akin.

I sat in his master chair and face him blocking the sun from the outside. God! How can this man be so obviously HOT !

"Why are your there?" He asked.

"Observing you. Hindi pa tayo tapos mag-usap"

"Tss. stop it. I'm still not in the mood cause of what you did to your ex" He just turn his back on me and cover his body with the comforter.

"See! Why would you get that kind of attitude if you don't like me huh?" I smirked.

"As your BESTFRIEND, I don't like seeing you kissing some strangers, Specially your ex. You look like a desperate woman george.EX na nga e, hahalikan mo pa." He stand up on his bed and walk towards the door.

" Wow! Coming from the guy who flirts with his childhood friend! Really Leon? Am I the one who's in fault here? mas malandi ka pa nga sa akin e!" I blocked his way through the door and crossed my arms infront of him.

"Move, or you'll regret it." He glared his eyes on me. and somehow I got scared as if he is planning something dangerous.

"NO!" I said confidently.

"Fine then." He carry me on his one hand and my body on his right shoulder.

"Leon! Put me down! You're such an asshole!" Nagpupumiglas ako habang buhat-buhat niya ako pababa ng hagdan.

"Ano ba! Saan mo ba ako dadalhin?Ibaba mo na ako!" Pasigaw kong sabi.

Napadpad kami sa kusina at iniupo niya ako sa dining chair. He cooked for our breakfast and eat afterwards.

"See! You're less annoying when you eat." Leon laughed at me.

"Whatever! Hindi talaga kita makakausap ng matino Leon!" Tumayo na ako para umalis sa dining area.

"Where are you going?"He asked.

"Going to shower. Wanna join?" I smirked.

"As if." He just smirked and drank his water straight while not looking at me.

"Okay! If you say so."

Lumipas ang mga araw at heto parin ako stress na stress na sa work ko. Sobrang dami naman kasing kliyente ngayon at kailangan na may matapos na sa mga projects ko. I took a day off today and went to Letty's coffee shop. Kailangan ko na talaga ng kausap para maglabas ng sama ng loob.

As I enter the cafe I saw letty at the cashier, maybe auditing some of her earnings today. Napalingon siya sa akin at itinigil pansamantala ang kaniyang ginagawa. I went inside the counter to talk to her.

"You're here! Himala buhay ka pa pala George, nagtataka na nga ako kasi walang nanggugulo sa akin this past few months." She laughed while getting some cup of tea for me.

"I'm going to DIE! Letty sobrang daming dumadating na projects sa amin. I was so drain and exhausted. Ang tingin yata ng boss ko sa akin at sa mga tauhan ko e Robot na walang hindi kinakaya" Ibinuhos ko lahat ng sama ng loob ko kay letty dahil sobrang bigat na talaga ng nararamdaman ko.

"Maybe she trusts you too much, kaya binibigay niya sayo yan for your growth. Malay mo promotion na pala ang kasunod niyan diba? All hardworks are worth it if you put your heart on what you do" She winked at me and handed me the cup of tea

Lumabas siya ng counter at Sinundan ko siya para maupo sa sa isang table.

"You know what! I think I should create my own business too!" I widely smiled at her getting excited for what I've said.

"Are you serious?" She burst in to laughter at halos hindi na siya makahinga kakatawa.

"What!? Anong nakakatawa !  I am SUPER SERIOUS! Hanga nga ako sayo e. Ang galing mo mag manage ng business mo."

"Not that I am not supporting you to create your own business but george you're at your peak in your career. Wag mo sayangin yung chances na binibigay sayo, I remember you said that you're not into business,Try to save more money then think about how to start your own business." She said.

"Yeah you're right but HOW!? how should I get out of this stressful life!" Binagsak ko ang ulo ko sa lamesa dahil sobra ng nakakapagod ang mag-isip.

"You know what? Today is your day-off have some fun! Go Clubbing! Do shopping, Clean your house! Be productive, You need to divert your thinking to other things to release your stress!"

Parang nabuhayan ako sa sinabi ni Letty.

"TAMA! At sasama ka sa akin! Let's go Letty!" Tumayo ako at hinarap siya.

"What NO! I'm not going, Magsasara pa ako!"

"Then I'll wait , 7 pm plang naman ! Go and get change, Kanino ba idea ito?" I said.

"Ugh! FINE!"

"Thank you bestieeeeee! Iloveyou" I hugged and kissed her on her cheek.
