Hey Guys! I have another chapter for you all! Enjoy! Discord Invite code: u9rgDCA I just want to address something the reason I didn't put Rani tricking Kion anytimes before is because really Rani singing "Of the Same Pride" is her tricking way of getting Kion to love her which apparently didn't work well enough as she hoped I hope this cleared some things up! I was going to post this last night but I was tired and I had to finish it today I hope to post a chapter every night or morning depends if I am able to.

2 days prior

Rani had pulled Kion from his friends to speak with him in private. The group of animals were conversing as to whether they should start on the long journey back to their home in the Pridelands. Whatever the brown lioness had to say, however, seemed to be against their ideas.

"What's on your mind, Rani?" Kion asked.

"I need to ask a favor of you, Kion." Rani answered.

"Well Rani, there's not much more to be done around here." Kion looked confused. "I mean, Binturong and her goons are all gone for good. Not to mention you're the Queen now."

"Exactly! That's the point." Rani countered. "I can't rule this place by myself."

"Rani, you're not by yourself. You got Nirmala, Surak and Baliyo."

"You're missing the point Kion." Rani sighed. "What I'm trying to say is, I need a king. And after what I saw yesterday, king material isn't better than you."

"Rani I-"

"With you ruling with me, we would be just as great as my parents were. Maybe even more."

"Rani-"

"Didn't my Grandmother say the Roar belonged here and not the Pridelands?"

"Rani! I can't!"

Rani had finally stopped talking.

"I'm sorry, Rani, but what you want from me, it can't happen." Kion admitted. "I have to go home, Rani. My family's there, and my kingdom needs someone to protect it. Besides, I really don't know how to say this, but I don't like you that way."

Words could not express how Rani felt after hearing that. After everything that they had been through, Kion held no feeling for her. How could he be her king now?

"Queen Rani!"

The sound of her snowy owls sentry had caught her attention. "A Cheetah's coming this way!" As if on que, said Cheetah appeared.

"Azaad?"

"You know him?" Kion asked.

"Indeed." Azaad answered. "Queen Janna once healed me after a nasty fall. I only heard about her passing yesterday, she will be missed."

"Azaad!"

Kion heard the familiar female voice and looked out towards the distance. He saw two familiar hyenas tiredly approaching behind Azzaad.

"Janja!" Bunga raced forward and pummeled Janja to the ground. "I've had enough of you!"

"Bunga, get off!" Janja groaned. "I'm on your side now!"

Next thing Bunga knew after hearing that, he got a fist to the gut, to the side, and one hard one to the side of the head that sent him flying into a bush.

"That's what you get for hitting my Janja." Jasiri growled at him.

"What're you guys doing here?" Kion asked them.

"Kion, we came to warn you." Jasiri answered. "Zira's back and she's on the march."

"What?!" Fuli exclaimed.

"We barely knew where to go to find you guys." Janja said as he got up.

Before Kion could order his team to move out, he turned his head to Rani. The Night Lion looked at Kion and turned her head away sadly. This was all Kion needed to l=figure they had to go already.

"Well, we'd better get a move on. Bunga, let's go! Get up!"

Bunga shook himself off as he ran after his friends. "Wait for me guys!"

~Present day~

Rani laid out on Nirmala's rock as the pain inside of her had stopped. She did not know whether it was from her broken heart of Kion rejecting her, or some sort of sickness in her. All she knew was she felt terrible. She raised her ears as she heard the voices of her aunt and uncle.

"I don't understand, Nirmala. Rani and Kion weren't alone for the whole time he was here."

"I'm confused too, Surak. But I know what I;m dealing with. It was like this when my Ananda was pregnant."

"Please, my little sister was older than Rani is right now when it happened to her."

"Oh, come on, Surak." Nirmala's voice came again. But what she said next shocked Rani.

"Rani's been old enough to get pregnant for a while now."

Oh! Is Rani pregnant or not? You'll have to find out in the upcoming chapters!
