2 months later...

Today has been the longest school day of the year. Don't get me wrong, it's been a fun day SURPRISINGLY but the time has been going by slower than usual. And another surprising thing is lately I've actually been happy to come to school. 

I guess I have Dwayne to thank for that. He's the reason I'm constantly in a good mood. Even though we can see each other outside of school, seeing him and spending time with him at school is a plus. 

Valentine's Day was last month and Dwayne took me out to this restaurant that I never knew existed. The food there was amazing. Then once we left the place, we went to a hotel where he already had a room booked for us. Of course we had sex but it felt good to be able to block out the outside world and enjoy each others company for one night. 

Since then, we've been spending a lot of time at my house. But it's more of my parents spending time with him rather than us spending time with each other. Be having me feel like I'm the third wheel. I love that they are bonding with each other but damn, I still exist. They ask about him more than do with me and the first few times were okay but to constantly do it, it gets annoying.

But anyways, I'm currently in art class which is my last period of the day. It's kind of been a free period for me since my teacher didn't have anything planned for us to do. So I've been talking to Dwayne, Jazmine and Dondre. 

This is the only class that we all have together. 

In the middle of us talking, Dwayne asked to see my phone. I didn't have anything to hide so I gave it to him without questioning him about it. I don't know what he was doing on my phone and I didn't bother trying to find out. But I was cold in this classroom. It's starting to get warmer outside which means the school is turning the ACs back on. And of course, the one day that I don't bring a hoodie is the day that it's on full blast. 

So while Dwayne was using my phone, I placed my arms under his shirt and wrapped them around his body to warm up a little. And it was actually working. I pressed my head against his back, getting more comfortable in my seat. 

Finding myself slowly falling asleep, I was woken out of it by my Teacher Mrs. Davis speaking up to make an announcement.

"Okay, listen up class. I told you earlier in the week that I'd be assigning partners for your final art project of the year today. This project is going to take you until the end of May to complete. So make sure you and your partner are always on the same page. So let's started."

As she announcing names, I was hoping that I'd be paired up with either Jazmine, Dondre or my baby daddy.

"Dondre and Jazmine, you 2 two are paired up."

That was expected. Lucky ass hoes.

"Korey, you'll be partnered up with...Kendrick."

Okay, I'm fine with that. Sucks that I'm not with my man but I'm cool with Korey so this should be a fun experience. 

"And lastly, Dwayne. You'll work with....Katerina."

"Now who the fu-" I said in my head before scanning the room to see who she was talking about. Once I found who it was, I wanted to scream out loud but instead I screamed on the inside. 

It was that girl that I caught flirting with Dwayne a few months ago. I forgot she even existed. When she saw me looking over at her, she gave me a wink. I wanted so badly to go over and drag her by her dry ass blonde roots but I kept my composure.
