Evan's POV
" Hey, Jared h-how are you-." Evan was quickly cut off by Jared. " you know we're just family friends right."
"Oh y-yeah, I remember I'll leave then."
While Evan was walking through the school's hallway the intercom abruptly started " Evan Hansen to the principal's office."
What kind of trouble can I be in? What did I do wrong? Does someone need me? No, I didn't do anything right? Guess I'll find out now, he thought.
Creeeaaaak
The wood door opened. " H-hi do you need a-anything" He squeaked.
"Yes, I do. Do you know Connor Murphy by any chance? Cause he left you an attempted suicide note." The priceable said.
" I k-know him a little b-but, A-attempted suicide?"
"Yes he's in the hospital now if I where you I would go, umm and I'll give you an excuse today."
"C-can I see t-the letter first p-please?"
"Go ahead," he said lazily and handed me the letter.
I quickly skimmed through the paper to find that this is the the note he stole from me in the computer lab?! Why was this 'Connor's suicide note.'
"T-this is my-" Evan was cut off.
"Yes I know this is your letter it was found on Connor when he was admitted to the hospital, you should get going now."
"O-okay" Why did he want me to go to the hospital so badly? I mean he just tried to kill himself. Why am I so important? I'll probably just get kicked out of the room. No one wants me to be around. Fern, I can't even kill myself without failing.
"Go on," he said in an annoyed tone.
"B-bye I guess"
I start walking out the office doors and soon out the building. I started taking in the view of the trees. There was a tall, large, oak tree. It had beautiful green leaves. Something about trees has always intrigued me, it was so peaceful. So easy to understand every aspect to each individual tree.
