"Welcome to the Glade, Greenie!"

"The glade? What's that?" I asked.

"Let me show you," he said reaching out his hand. I hesitated a bit before taking it. Was I going to regret this? I stood up and followed him out the door. The sun blinded me as soon as it reached my eyes.

The boy stopped at a near by tree and I leaned against it.

"This is the Glade" he said pointing to their surroundings. The glade was a large in closed space with stone walls around the outside.

"In the glade, we have three rules.
One, do your part. We don't have time to worry about slackers. Two, don't harm another glader. Three, and most important of all, never ever go beyond those walls. Got it?"I nodded my head.

"My name is Alby By the way... Do you remember anything? Your name? Anything?" He asked. I shook my head.

"Are you good with a bow?" He asked, handing me the bow that I had pulled out before. I took it and carefully studied it. Engrave in the side of it read,"Queen Susan the Gentle,"

"Susan," I said. "My name is Susan! I remember," I said with a smile. Alby smiled slightly, then looked towards an archery target by the tree line. I loaded my bow and pointed it at the target. I sent the arrow flying, hitting it in the dead centre. I turned to look at Alby whose mouth was hanging open.

Alby's head snapped towards the sound of footsteps behind her. My head looked in the same direction just in time to see a tall, tan skinned boy with blond, short hair come towards her and push her backwards.

"Who the heck are you?" He said. He was getting closer and closer to me. My only instinct was to use my bow. I grabbed an arrow out of my pack and load it. I pointed it at him.

"Come one step closer and I will shoot!" I said. He stopped, grinned and then took one big step closer. he clenched his fists and took one big swing. His punch hit me square on the nose. I fell back into the tree and clenched my face. I removed my hand to see that blood was gushing out.

I wiped it away before preparing my bow again. I pointed it strait at his face.

"That is it, you asked for it, halfwit!" I said before Alby ripped the bow out of my hand, pushed the other boy to the ground and grabbed the back of my neck. He led me to what looked like a small jail cell, he opened the door, that looked like it was made of bamboo, and threw me in. I landed in the back corner of the small cell. He chucked me a rag before locking the door and walking away.

I grabbed the rag and tried to stop my nose from bleeding. After what seemed like forever, the blood stopped. I sighed with relief before jumping when I noticed that someone was standing at the door. I stumbled back deeper into the corner. I lifted my arm to shield my eyes from the sun coming through the bamboo door.

"Hey it is ok, greenie." I looked at the door and saw a boy. He had tanned skin, dark brown hair, and a pack strapped to his back.

"Who are-" he interrupted me.

"Minho. I watched what you did to Gally. Pretty cool if you ask me." He said. Why did he look so familiar. I could not put my finger on it.

"You look... Familiar... Do I know you?" I asked.

"You don't remember do you? What is the last thing you remember?"

"I remember hearing voices and waking up to boys swarming around me."

"Oh, um... I better explain then," he said. He opened the door and closed it behind him. He slid down the concrete wall in front of me and looked me in the eyes. He told me that he found me in the maze and... (Blah, blah blah, not important stuff...) "... And that is how you go here,"
