It was 1997, Ruvine was running home from a, finally, successful job application, it had been several weeks of her straining herself and nearly begging for a job. However, she finally got one and she was excited and relieved, and as she approached her house she felt her heart fall. The front door was broken open, and as she slowly moved in closer she shivered to see blood inside the doorway.

Ruvine was worried, and also curious as to why everything was like this as she went further into the house, she never saw her attacker coming up behind her. All she felt was something hit her in the back of her head as she tumbled to the floor, the hit hadn't been enough to knock her out, and as she struggled to gain her bearings someone wrapped their arm around her middle before a cloth was pressed over her mouth and nose. She struggled but felt her conscious failing, as she fell asleep her faint and remaining awareness shocked her with the sight of her parents, murdered in the living room, and as she woke, she screamed in disbelief.

Her eyes looked around frantically as she gently set her hands against the wood above her, the only source of light was a flashlight she had inside with her. She felt and gently grabbed the note attached to it as she slowly started reading, her eyes filling with tears as she tried to preserve whatever air remained in the coffin.

"Your parents didn't keep up their end of the bargain, though the boss was hoping you would've stayed away, we did what he requested. Please do forgive us, it's just business." Was what the note said, and by the end of it, her tears were gone.

Ruvine let out an enraged scream as she slammed her hands against the lid several times, soon yelping when her hand was cut on a nail. The pain grounded her as she now focused on her blood, she had promised her Momma, she wouldn't go doing blood rituals. However, now was not time to be the perfect little girl, now was time for her to get revenge, against her attackers and for her parents, even though they weren't the best at taking care of her.

So, slowly, she started drawing the runes and markings on the lid of the coffin, her breathing was controlled and limited, to prevent the air from depleting too fast, and as the final marking was drawn, she sighed quietly. Soon, her faint chanting echoed in the small space, her eyes closed as she felt the warm space go cold, then a hand slowly running up her shoulder and ending at her left cheek, a dark chuckle echoing the now silent space.

"What's a little girl like you, summoning someone like me? Ohhhh, no need to say a thing, I can FEEL it in your emotions. Your head. So much rage, but so much sadness. How about a deal? I will deal revenge against those who killed your parents and doomed you to die here. In return, I shall see you in hell, where little sinners like yourself, will reside." The voice was one and yet many, it was male and yet female, and it always sounded sarcastic, the shadows it played in the light of the flashlight was like vines covered in thorns.

Ruvine was silent, pondering over the offer, her eyes now closed again after nearly seeing the true self of the demon who was speaking to her. She let out a breath as she slowly nodded her head, hands clenched to her sides.

"I agree, show my enemies, the rage they have unleashed." Her voice was quiet, but only held the determination for the revenge she wanted.

The laughter of the demon echoed inside the coffin, and as it started to fade away, Ruvine felt her mind slowly slowing as she fell into a light sleep.

"Wonderful, I shall be overjoyed to hear of your arrival in hell. See you soon, Ruvine, the Doe Demon." Its voice was quiet, its laughter echoing the small space for a few after it had already left.

Then for hours, Ruvine lay there, sometimes screaming and slamming her hands into the lid while other times, she simply lay there, her heart broken, her mind slipping, the oxygen was fading fast, her body slowly shutting down as she sobbed quietly. Mid sob, she felt her lungs constricting, the oxygen was finally running out, and already so soon, in her opinion, her heart started pounding in fear as her instincts screamed to get out.

In her panic induced stage, the lid had been nudged enough that some dirt had fallen inside, but what really made it a success, was the small hole system a gopher had made. It filtered some air into her horrid prison, but her body was weak, the stress and lack of food and water would get her. So she slept, talked to the imaginary demon that she could've sworn was still around, and on her final day alive, she looked at the flashlight, smiled faintly, curled herself, as bony as she was, around it, and fell into her final sleep.

As her mind went into sleep, her eyes snapped open at a falling sensation, her eyes now wide in shock as she screamed in fear, she was falling, and she knew where.
