Ruvine snapped awake from her nightmare, not a nightmare, her memory, and looked around, she had been in hell for several weeks now, avoiding others and working on her new abilities, it was a process. First, she had to fight some demons to get away from being harmed or raped, then, she worked on securing a place to sleep and eat something. That had been harder but worked when she had used her new powers to win a territory fight.
It wasn't large, it wasn't the best, it was in the second level of hell, but it worked for her. She got up and walked to her dresser as she chose a simple outfit for today, soon heading outside where her plants and animals roamed. All of the creatures and plants outside were her little experiments and projects, the plants and animals were also her guardians of her territory, never letting a single demon through.
She stopped when she heard a car drive by as she watched it go to the nearby hotel, her eyes gleaming with interest as she turned when one of her animals nudged her. A small hell hound mixed with something like a leopard's body, it was a pup, and she gently lifted them into her arms as she cooed.
"Good morning little one, I am so fascinated with the hotel next door to us. I was thinking of going over there after my morning routine of feeding everyone! Do you wanna come with?" She cooed to the puppy, always babying her creations, happily in her opinion.
The little pup wiggled happily as Ruvine nodded and got to work, freezing mid watering when Sir Pentious, a hot shot snake demon who thought he could win territory, was blown up. She had seen only the otherworldly tentacles wrapping around his ship and the signals and ghosts, and now, her interest was higher. So, after tossing some chopped demon bits to the more carnivorous plants, she put her special leash on her little pup, who she happily named Spotty, and started for the hotel. It didn't take long and when she knocked on the door, she froze when none other than the Princess of Hell answered, her large smile making Ruvine a bit nervous.
"Ah! Are you here to try a shot at redemption?" Charlie spoke happily and excitedly, her eyes slightly looking like stars.
"Uhm... not really... I was actually hoping to just see what the hotel was about... maybe help with your gardens? They seem a bit... sad." Ruvine said gently, Spotty was seated next to her but wagged his tail when Charlie looked at him.
"Oh my gosh! I've never seen such a cute thing! What is he? I mean, I see the hell hound in him." She got to her knees and gently scratched behind one of his ears, Ruvine's own ears going back on her head in slight annoyance as she sighed.
"Hell hound and leopard mix, one of my many experiments from my nearby territory. Now, could I please come inside?" She tried to keep her voice calm, but some impatience leaked into it.
"Oh! Of course! Also, we'd be honored to have you help with the gardens! We are kinda trying to build up and make this place look good before officially opening!" Charlie got up quickly and held the door open, Ruvine nodding her thanks as she walked inside.
Needless to say, she never expected who she would meet inside that lobby, and it would forever change how she did things. So, as she walked inside and the door closed, she froze at the eyes that landed on her, one set was from the bartender who didn't look super enthusiastic to be there. Another was a single eye of who seemed to be a maid, one was from someone who narrowed her single eye at Ruvine in suspicion. It was the fourth set that made her squeal happily as Angel Dust, and or Anthony, did the same, the two of them rushing to hug as Spotty rushed around the two, barking happily.
"Ang! It has been so long since I last saw you! How have you been! Still working under that ass, Val?" Ruvine said, her voice nothing but joy and happiness at seeing an old friend.
"Same as always doll! How have you been though! You're looking sharp! Also, is that Spotty! Look at how he's developed!" He said in joyful shock, he never expected to see Ruvine in this circle of hell.
During the little reunion, Alastor had come from upstairs as he tilted his head in surprise to see someone being hugged by Angel Dust and a small hell hound mix that he'd never known was in hell, the dog part not as visible to him as the feline which helped his hidden dislike of dogs in general. Just as he reached the last step, Angel had set Ruvine down as Alastor froze and slightly gaped. He had never seen a demon in the category of deer since he fell, and now he was trying to keep composed. Ruvine's fur was almost, polar opposite of his own, her personality was also more open to physical touch. However, he took a deep breath and slowly approached the two as the hound near her turned to him and laid down at her feet, her head turning in his direction with Angel's.
