Chapter 11: The Wedding Day!

Ruvine was now cleaned of her tears, her fur being brushed by the stylist, her nails painted with cyan, small silver stars being set on them. Her hooves were smoothed out and cleaned as Angel waited nearby with her dress, Charlie holding the veil as they smiled to see her so happy. Once that was done, she stood up and took the dress as she went to get ready, slowly changing as Angel slipped in some white ribbons to decorate her feet.

When she came out, Charlie and Angel gasped as they felt tears form, she was beautiful, and as the veil settled over her head, Angel gently held her hands as he sniffled happily.

"Yer absolutely GORGEOUS, darlin, he's a lucky man to 'ave ya." He giggled as she blushed and gently helped apply her lipstick, a deep red to really stick out.

"Absolutely! I'm so excited to see this happen! I'll call a car!" Charlie squealed, rushing out to do that as Angel helped do any last-minute touches.

Soon leading Ruvine out as he held open the door for her, Charlie already inside as she got in and sat down gently. Angel shut the door behind him as the car started, and while they drove, Angel quietly hummed while Charlie took the rose and settled it among her crown, making it the front piece of it.

"Don't worry about anything Ruvine, we made sure this wasn't gonna be some huge spectacle, only close friends and family know about it." Charlie hastened to assure her, seeing the somewhat concerned face as it relaxed, and she smiled in relief.

"Thank you... I didn't know he was planning any of this, he can be so secretive sometimes." She giggled out, smiling into the reflection of herself in the window. She soon sat up straighter when the hotel came into view, her eyes tearing up to see the work they did in such little time.

The entrance was decorated in flowers of her own creation, friends lining either side of the red carpet. At the doorway, Lucifer stood behind a podium, dressed to impress as nearby him, Alastor, in a new suit of red, a cyan bowtie resting comfortably, stood at the top, his head facing the slowly halting car as he perked up in joy.

Valentino, Vox, Husk, Nifty, Vaggi, and Cherri all rested on either side, and nearby Alastor's feet was a small hellhound and leopard mix, the designs reminded her of her own. Angel got out first and made it to his place while Charlie got out next, holding the door open as Ruvine slowly stepped out, the crowd gasping in awe as she stood up.

Ruvine could feel her nerves kicking in, but sucked it down as she looked up, and felt her heart soar as she spotted the completely loving look Alastor was giving her. She made sure her cane had grip before walking forward as Charlie shut the door and made it to her spot. Everyone holding their words in as she now stood next to Alastor, gently trading hands for her cane as her now free one held his gently.

"We are gathered here today, friends to the two lovely demons before us, to witness their marriage. They wish to wed and swear to each other vows of honesty, and of love. To cherish each other in sickness and health, till second death do they part. If anyone wishes to speak up against this union, speak now, or forever hold your peace." Lucifer started, watching everyone in the group look around before nodding happily as he continued on.

"Perfect! Repeat after me you two. I, your name, take you your name, to be my other, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until second death do us part." He finished, watching Alastor puff up in pride as he gently slipped his ring for Ruvine on first.

"I, Alastor, take Ruvine, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer. In sickness and in health, to love and cherish, from this day forward until second death do us part." He chuckled quietly at the end and gently rubbed a tear from her eye as she giggled and gently slipped his ring on.
