(F/N)'s POV
As I watched the trees dance in the setting sun's wind, I heard behind me, "Thank you for staying." I turned and saw Alice still inside the house smiling at me; I guess the others decided to do something else while I pondered the meaning of my eternity.
I smiled at her and said, "It's the least I can do for both your family and Bella, since she'll soon be a member of this family."
Alice nodded and said as she exited the house, "That is true, and you'll also be a member of this family no matter where you are. You'll always have a home here."
I smiled at her when she stood next to me and said, "Thank you. I truly appreciate everything you and your family have done for me, Alice, even if I don't show it."
She laughed and said, "Damn straight! You scared Emmett when you threw the tree at Bella's house, and he normally doesn't get scared!"
I laughed and said, "He must've realized I'm stronger than him."
Alice nodded and said, "Without a doubt. But if he heard us, he'll challenge you to a fight."
I smirked and said, "If Emmet and I fought, I'd win."
"Then let's go right now," Emmett declared from the kitchen; when did he show up?
I turned around and asked him, "You want to lose?"
He let out a boisterous laugh and said, "I won't lose! Besides, you'll take it easy on me and I don't hit women unless they hit me."
I smirked and flicked his chest while snickering, "Then you're sorely mistaken as to what I'll do, Emmett Cullen." I then slapped him upside the head and darted away, perching on a branch about fifty feet in the air. I yelled down, "What's the matter? You said you don't hit women unless they hit you!"
Emmett chuckled and said, "And you're up a tree, so who's the chicken here?"
I replied, "It takes skill to bring someone down from a tree and you lack that skill." Emmett growled, rushed to the tree, and shook it. I laughed and held onto the trunk tightly as Emmett tried to shake me down. I jumped to the next tree and yelled, "That was an amateur move!" I watched him growl and stare at me, trying to figure out how to get to me. I chuckled and watched Edward mumble something to Emmett while pointing to the tree I was in. I yelled, "Don't try to knock that tree down!" Emmett stared at me as I gracefully fell to the forest and landed in front of him, wiggling an eyebrow and smirking. I then mumbled, "First lesson: Never assume you're beaten." He smirked and then his pants met his ankles. I giggled as the women laughed out loud; apparently Emmett didn't realize what I'd done, and I loved it. I patted his shoulder, walked past him, and said, "I'll see you inside."
I heard Emmett's pants rustle and a growl when he noticed they were around his feet. Emmett called out, "You've clearly practiced that last move before now for me to not notice it!"
I shrugged and said, "As the humans say, practice makes perfect." I entered the house and told Rosalie, "No wonder you currently can't walk. Emmett's really packing it."
She stared at me as Emmett waddled into the house, not having yanked his pants up. He then rubbed his neck and sheepishly said, "The zipper broke."
I giggled and said, "You're beaten, Emmett, because you don't play dirty!"
Alice laughed and Rosalie stood in front of her man predicament, staring at me while saying, "You're a woman who is older than all of us, (F/N). Have some class!"
I giggled and said, "Not like you weren't thinking of saying the same thing I just did!" Rosalie squeaked, actually squeaked, and buried herself in Emmett's arms. I grinned and said, "See? I was right." I then told Emmett, "Put some pants on." He rolled his eyes and held Rosalie in his arms, making sure I couldn't see her. I sighed and said, "I'm sorry for my attitude. I'm not used to being a member of a real family."
