I rolled my eyes as Draco stepped into my room.

"What do you want Malfoy?" I saw the look in his eyes when he realised I had been crying hard, he looked worried for me, there was a hint of sadness as well when he cleared his throat getting ready to talk.

*Draco's POV*

As soon as she left this morning I couldn't stop thinking about her, she deserved so much more than what I could give her. When she returned to class, her eyes were all puffy and red, she'd obviously been crying and in that moment I knew I needed to make it up to her.

She didn't even look at me for the entire class, not one glance or passing look, then again she couldn't have been in class for more than 10 minutes before a Hufflepuff prefect came and whisked her away.

I spent the rest of the day wondering why she never turned up to any more classes, it's like she just disappeared. I figured something quite serious had to have happened if she didn't turn up to classes, Ravenclaws are always in every class, even when their violently ill.

I decided I didn't care that she likely hated me right now , I needed to make sure she was ok so after class I made my way up to her dorm. I moved as fast as I could, through the Ravenclaw common room and passed puzzled looking students. Her door was shut and I contemplated whether this was a good idea, whether she'd want to see me or immediately kick me out.

I stood there for a few minutes listening to her sing softly to herself before deciding to knock on her door. Without waiting for my mind to change I opened it gently and let myself in.

She was sat with her legs crossed on the bed in shorts and an oversized jumper, wand in hand and bags under her eyes. She looked like she had exhausted herself crying but I couldn't believe how beautiful she still looked. When her eyes met mine she narrowed them slightly and asked what I was doing here.

"Easy darlin, I came to check on you, you disappeared in the middle of Snapes class and no ones seen you since." I said rolling my eyes at her snarky tone, she looked like she wanted to bite my head off but I can't blame her. She cracked a faint smile but instantly looked away and shook it off, at least it was something.

"I'm fine Malfoy, you don't need to bother checking on me, I am doing fine on my own." She said clearly trying to cut my visit short. "I haven't forgotten about this morning either." She added.

"I didn't need to but I wanted to, now stop being stubborn and let me make sure you're ok in peace." She rolled her eyes again but this time she couldn't hold back her smile and let out a little chuckle under her breath.

I smiled and walked over, leaning on her bed post looking curiously at her wand.

"What's Miss Fay getting up to with her wand huh? I know you don't need to practise any charms, you've got them down to a fine art, so what could it be?" I smirk at her crossing my arms and prying for an answer.

"I read about a reverse curse one time and I've been trying to figure it out." She spoke with confidence, giving up with the idea that I was leaving.

I loved how curious she was about magic, she was truly mesmerised by it. I guess growing up with it all my life I took it for granted.

"Well what curse does it reverse?" I say taking a seat on her bed and playing with her wand.

"The memory curse."

I stopped and looked at her in disbelief. "Ana that doesn't exist." I chuckled, I've never met someone who thinks its real. Her eyes darted away from my eyes as I said it.
