A night to remember { part 1 } [ Kurapika x Leorio ]

"See you tonight!" Gon yelled after me and Leorio after we left the house, all dressed up for a dinner for two, leaving Killua and Gon with the house for themselves.

I was wearing tight black pants with a gilet over a thin white blouse and Leorio was wearing straight black tuxedo pants with a red tie over also a white blouse.

He looked the door behind us and we walked over to the nearest train station. It would be about half an hour to the nearest centrum where he booked a restaurant for us.

We sat down in the compartment and soon enough an assistant came by.

"What can I get for you, sir?" the assistant said.

"Nothing, thank you." Leorio responded.

"And for you, ma'am?" He said while turning to me.

"Kurapika's a-"

"It's fine, Leorio. I'll have a water, thank you." I said, interrupting Leorio.

He handed me a glass of water and left the compartment.

"Kura-"

"Leorio I said it's fine. It happens." I said with a smile and shrug.

"Well I think you look very handsome today." Leorio complemented me while putting his hand on my thigh.

"Thanks, you look very handsome yourself." I placed my hand over his.

We made small talk throughout the trip. Soon enough we stepped out of the train station and Leorio led me through the busy streets of the centre, our fingers interlocking, until he suddenly stopped.

"Huh?" I said.

"Wait," He said as he searched through his pocket, "put this on." He handed me a blindfold.

I gave him a questionable look. "Trust me." He said with a kind smile.

"Alright, I trust you." I gave him a smirk and but the black blindfold in front of my eyes, blocking my entire vision. He helped me tie a small knot at the back of my head.

"You ready?" He said, grabbing both of my hands.

I nodded confident. He walked backwards, leading me through the alleys and crossing the streets. I focused on my hearing, trying to figure out where we were going. Eventually I lost track of which sides we went and what route, so I gave up and decided to let Leorio take full control.

"Alright, we're now going up the stairs, so be careful." Leorio said after five minutes of walking.

"We're what?!" I exclaimed.

"Don't worry, we're almost there." He reassured me.

Step by step we walked up. Lastly we stepped through a door and I suddenly heard music.

I felt Leorio's hands untying the blindfold and before me a beautiful scenery unfolded.

It was a room with a live band and some few other tables filled with couples and lovers. Every table was decorated with a white sheet and a red rose in the middle. All the walls were made from glass that had a view over the night sky and the city, filled with lights. In the back of the room there was a dance floor where some were slow dancing to the live band.

He pulled up a chair for me and we both said down.

"This is amazing Leorio..." I said while gazing around the room, "How did you even know about this place?"

"Killua recommended this, actually. He said it was one of the best places in town."

I was absolutely speechless, this was amazing,
