The rest of the day passes agonizingly slow. The mystery boy is in a ton of my classes, which is just another plus.

(Note the sarcasm)

However, I did find out his name and what he did to already get into trouble on his first day.

It kind of went down like this:

Teacher: "Ah, young man, you must be Arthur Jackson?"

Mystery Boy: "I prefer AJ."

Teacher: "Alright, AJ. As you wish." *turns back to board*

Me: *glances over at not-so-mystery-boy-anymore who of course is sitting next to me, while pouting*

AJ: "Don't you even say anything."

Teacher: *turns around and narrows eyes at us* "I've heard you've already been in trouble for back talking a teacher, don't give me a reason to write you up for talking in my class, Arthur."

That was in fifth period, and now it's the end of the day. Which means I should see him on the bus.

I really don't know why I care so much.

I mean, it's not like someone like him could ever possibly care for anyone.

Especially someone like me.

Not that I want him to, or anything.

Pushing those thoughts to the back of my head, I sit on the bench outside the school, waiting for my bus.

A few other people are spaced out in the school yard, also waiting, but I'm not in much of a social mood.

Sighing, I glance off in the direction of the woods, behind the school, and almost have a heart attack.

There is a figure standing there, facing me.

I can't quite make out their features, but I could've sworn it looked like...

"Hey princessa."

Tearing my gaze away from the woods, I look over to see AJ smirking at me, but for a split second his eyes drift to the woods, before darting back to me.

Maybe I had imagined that.

But maybe not.

That thought is also shoved to the back of my mind, however, when he slings an arm lazily over my shoulder.

"So, you know my name. Will you tell me about you?"

I scowl at him, getting to my feet as the bus comes into view.

"Nice try, AJ. But you'll have to try a little bit harder."
