the long, cozy, warm ambiance that the hallway, leading to their office, radiates never fails to calm oikawa. but not this time, he wasn't even paying any slightest bit of attention to his surroundings. all that matters to oikawa at the moment, is to reach the office without fainting.

he stopped momentarily as he started rubbing his temples and gently pinching the bridge of his nose.

lately, oikawa isn't feeling good. he barely gets some sleep and one could tell just by merely seeing those dark bags under his eyes. this has been going on for a week now, and it somehow affected oikawa's work.

oikawa continued walking until he finally reached the office. with all his might, he pushed open the clear-glass door. and as soon as he set foot inside of the office he already heard makki's voice echoing around the room.

"woah!" was the only word that came out of makki's mouth. but, oikawa's pretty sure that a nonstop bickering is coming on his way. and he nailed that one.

"i've been telling you this for like a week now oikawa," oikawa didn't pay any attention to what makki is saying.

oikawa creased his forehead and rolled his eyes at makki. he starts walking towards his desk, he placed his bag down and sat on his swivel chair.

makki, with the help of his swivel chair, glides all the way towards oikawa, colliding with his friend in a rough manner. "you look terrible today." makki muttered, but it's enough for oikawa to hear what makki had said.

"what do you want?!" oikawa let out a small groan as he glared at makki. makki on the other hand, heaved a deep sigh as he lifts both of his hands.

"geez, calm down. i am just telling the truth. you look really terrible, what's with you?" makki asked oikawa, but the lad shrugged his shoulders as he rests his head on the table.

oikawa fails to get a good night sleep and doesn't get to eat properly, and it has been going on for a week, already.

makki, who knew about oikawa's condition, wanted his friend to take a day off and take it easy. he also knew, that the reason behind all of this is iwaizumi hajime.

makki stares at his hopeless friend, who's hopelessly in love with iwaizumi. he shakes his head as he turns his head toward the other direction.

"how about you tell him?" makki asked oikawa.

the lad instantly understood what makki's talking about and he quickly rejected makki's suggestion. "no way in hell, i won't do that. keep your trap shut."

oikawa bites his lower lip as he turns his head towards the other direction. "alright, whatever you say. you're not a teenager anymore and this doesn't look cute at all."

makki heaved a deep sigh as he eyed oikawa with a worried look on his face. he told oikawa to get some rest at the infirmary before he went back to his desk, glancing at oikawa from time to time.

oikawa takes a deep breath as he remembered what he had witnessed for the past few days. maybe, maybe admitting his own feelings to himself and makki was a bad idea at all.

for the past few days, oikawa couldn't help but think about iwaizumi all day, and all night. the lad has been inside oikawa's mind, and oikawa wanted to directly confront iwaizumi if he's tired of running inside his head.

but of course, he just wanted to confront iwaizumi, not that he'd ever do that.

different kinds of scenarios involving iwaizumi always bombard oikawa's head. he dreamed once of iwaizumi and a girl, holding hands and kissing. oikawa suddenly woke up and finds himself really aggravated with his own dream.
