as soon as he realized what time is it already, oikawa tossed his phone on his bed and went quickly towards his bathroom. he did all of his necessities and after fifteen minutes, he's already running as fast as he could to reach the train station.

he was panting really hard as he entered the train. he calmed himself by taking deep breaths, he didn't even bother himself to find a decent seat. he grabbed the hanging strap with his right hand, while his left hand was placed inside his pocket.

oikawa regretted staying up until three in the morning, watching all of the movies that he could think of. if he hadn't done that, he is already  inside the office,bpeacefully sitting in his seat while teasing makki, who's supposed to be the slow poke.

and maybe he could even have the time to spare to buy himself a decent breakfast.

oikawa looked at his wrist and he clicked his tongue when he realized that he forgot his wrist watch. he heaved a deep sigh before he rummaged through his bag, trying to find where he had put his phone.

he mentally slapped his face when he realized he also fogrot it. he didn't put it inside his bag nor his pockets, he forgot to bring his phone with him. his phone was left on his bed. "ha, what a great fucking day." he muttered under his breath.

since he badly want to know what time is it already, he ended up peeking on someone's phone and god knows he didn't want to witness what he had just witnessed with his own innocent, pure and virgin eyes.

he still have fifteen minutes, he can make it. he will make it.

after ten minutes, the doors of the train opened and oikawa started running as fast as he could in order for him to arrive at the office on time.

he doesn't care about how he looks like at the moment, he just badly wants to arrive at the office on time. he doesn't want to face the wrath of his superiors. once is enough.

oikawa tries to think about what will happen today or if there are any special happenings that will happen today. upon realizing what today is, he felt like dying.

the new chief operating officer will be arriving today. "damn!" he cursed at himself as he entered the building. he pressed the elevator button, several times. as soon as the doors opened he stepped foot inside.

oikawa pressed the button of the floor in which their office is located. he started fixing his hair and he adjusted his glasses. as the elevator doors opened, he quickly went outside and started turning his head sideways.

he takes a peek inside the office, making sure everything is still fine. he heaved a deep sigh before he went inside. his demeanor's totally calm but inside, he is definitely freaking out. he hoped his superiors haven't seen him. he heaved a sigh of relief when he reached his desk without being noticed.

he doesn't have any clue with what is going on. his gaze roamed around the office, everyone seems to be really busy. oikawa was really surprised to see makki working really hard, at this really early hour.

his gaze shifted back on his desk, he was wondering, how come his desk became so clean. it doesn't have anything piled unlike in makki's desk, it's a mountain full of documents.

with the help of his swivel chair, he slides all the way towards makki's desk. "oi," he called out for his friend, "i'm busy, dumb bitch." his friend retorted, he's eyes are totally fixed at the document on his hand, reading each sentences properly.

"so, what's with everybody?" oikawa asked his friend, makki heaved a deep sigh before he looks at oikawa with a pissed look on his face. "we're finishing everything that should be done. before the new chief operating officer arrives."

oikawa scrunched up his nose, he was pretty sure he already finished everything that should be done yesterday. he smiled proudly, while he mocked makki with his bright smile.

"fuck you, get away from me, i wanna work in peace." oikawa lets out a small laugh before he went back to his desk. he sat there peacefully while his gaze roams around the office, observing everyone.

he couldn't help but laugh at makki, because oikawa thinks that working early, doesn't suit makki at all. but he was kind of proud with his friend because, he's not just taking his job lightly.

he rested his head on his desk, his thoughts were preoccupied with the new chief operating officer. he doesn't have any clue what had happened with their previous chief operating officer. every department of the company received the news that there will be a new chief operating officer.

of course he heard different rumors about the new chief operating officer. he heard some rumors but he doesn't really care.

oikawa yawns, he tries his best to keep his eyes open. he stood up and started stretching his limbs.

he shouldn't have done that last night, but he knew that in order to forget about the thing that he had done with iwaizumi, he got to do things that will divert his attention. so, he did. he watched almost all of the movies that he could think of.

makki, who went out of the office to use the washroom, came back with an excited look on his face. makki went straight towards oikawa, which made the lad looked at him with a confused look on his face.

"what are you doing here? i thought you're busy?" the two of them probably didn't noticed that everyone inside the office stood up and started bowing down at someone.

"oikawa," makki placed his hand on oikawa's shoulder. "you gotta give me front row tickets." oikawa doesn't have the slightest clue, what on earth is his friend talking about.

"what are you talking about?" he asked him, "what are you doing?" oikawa asked makki who just lowered his head.

oikawa gasped, when he noticed that everyone inside the office bowed down.

he turned around and oikawa's jaw dropped when he saw someone familiar, who looks really good and manly in his suit.

"iwaizumi," oikawa muttered under his breath.

iwaizumi gazed around the office and plastered a soft smile on his lips. he placed both of his hands inside his pockets, "i am your new chief operating officer," oikawa saw how iwaizumi eyed him with a teasing look on his face.

"my name's iwaizumi hajime. pretty sure, at least one of you knows me." oikawa saw how iwaizumi eyed him for a split second with a smirk on his face.
