"i might just cause some trouble, you know? you don't have to bring me along with you." oikawa clicked his tongue, crossed his arms over his chest, as he looked at iwaizumi.

he furrowed his eyebrows as he noticed iwaizumi letting out a small smile on his face, as if hearing oikawa complaining and whining will change iwaizumi's mind to turn the car around and leave oikawa at his apartment. as if he will do that.

well, after the incident that had happened between oikawa and his mom and after seeing oikawa dashing out of his own house, iwaizumi took the chain of events as a cue to take responsibility and to take oikawa with him.

both of them went at iwaizumi's apartment, he let oikawa to take some rest while he also did the same. none of them started talking, and iwaizumi doesn't know what to say to make oikawa cheer up. he tried opening his mouth to say something, but he couldn't find the right words to say. in the end, he shut his mouth and sat beside oikawa to let the lad know that iwaizumi's always there for him whenever he needs him.

because of the deafening silence that lingers between the two of them, iwaizumi somehow felt sleepy. after all, both him and oikawa, barely got some sleep last night. he was about to doze off when his own phone started ringing and startled the hell out of him and oikawa.

he stared at the screen of his phone, and reality mentally slapped him hard. he totally forgot the reason why he had to left his own apartment earlier, he totally forgot that he needs to see his grandfather because he was told to do so.

he heaved a deep sigh before he took the key of his car that was placed on the table. he looked at oikawa beside him who is already looking at him with a questioning look on his face.

iwaizumi was contemplating whether he should take oikawa with him or just let him stay inside his apartment. he initially plans on letting him stay inside his apartment as he deals with his grandfather. but in the end, he cannot leave oikawa behind.

although oikawa kept telling iwaizumi the perks of leaving him behind, iwaizumi didn't listen to him. instead, he drags oikawa inside his car and he started driving before oikawa could even protest.

"iwa-chan, i don't really think it's a good idea to bring me along." oikawa scratched the back of his head, "i should've just stayed at your apartment." oikawa told iwaizumi.

iwaizumi let out a mocking laugh, his gaze still fixated on the road. "ha, like hell, you are coming with me." iwaizumi glanced at oikawa for a brief second, "i don't want you running away from me."

oikawa felt his heart skipped a beat, he turned his head towards the other direction. he decided to just look out of the window to avert iwaizumi's gaze. he started counting, to let those words, that slipped out of iwaizumi's mouth, out of his mind.

running away from him? he asked himself.

oikawa slightly creased his forehead as he started thinking how on earth would he be able to run away from iwaizumi, if iwaizumi's not chasing him in the first place.

oikawa's thoughts were interrupted as soon as he noticed the familiar gate that the car just entered. oikawa dissipates the lump in his throat as he felt something inside of him, trembling. he just went through something that is really nerve wracking and here he is, facing something that is way more nerve wracking.
