those were the words that instantly popped out of matsukawa's head, iwaizumi's friend, when he heard iwaizumi's all of the sudden declaration of him, marrying oikawa.

matsukawa saw this coming, the moment iwaizumi knelt in front of oikawa, he knew that iwaizumi would totally do anything just to tie the knot. he knows iwaizumi, he knows how persistent his friend could be.

"you know, i'm gonna tell you this not because i don't want you two together. i am just concerned." matsukawa eyes iwaizumi seriously, as he rested his chin on top of his curled up fingers.

there is always a question that has been bugging matsukawa's mind since iwaizumi asked for his help, and since the time iwaizumi told him, "i want to do it already, i want to marry oikawa. i want to do it properly, i want to tie the knot already." he was shocked, who would not be?

"are you sure about this, iwaizumi? you know what you're entering." matsukawa heaved a deep sigh, "society doesn't accept us." matsukawa told iwaizumi, and iwaizumi instantly remembered how his grandfather meddles with his love affairs; how his grandfather started panicking that he wanted to find a decent girl for his grandson, the moment hajime came out to his father and grandfather as a bisexual.

it was the right decision to actually admit what his gender is, who he is, with pride and a grin on his face.

iwaizumi did not regret it, admitting who he really his, even if his very own grandfather started giving him the cold shoulder treatment and even started meddling with iwaizumi's love affairs.

his grandfather was the sole reason why he started hooking up with girls and some other times, guys as well. he thought he would only go with the flow with what his grandfather wants to happen that he actually took that thought as an opportunity to enjoy and to satisfy himself.

iwaizumi hajime does not have the courage to fight, and slightest bit of intention to actually defy his own grandfather.

from the very beginning, iwaizumi did not really consider what he wants. he just do things that will surely pleased his grandfather.

he dated all of the girls that his grandfather told him to date. he did not say no to what his grandfather wants to happen. he just go with the flow.

he did everything that his grandfather ask him to do not because he is a loyal grandson or anything. it is not because he wants his life to be fully controlled by his manipulative grandfather, no.

if there is one thing in this world that iwaizumi hates the most, it is being controlled.

but for him, he is actually not being controlled by his grandfather. he could have simply just said no to whatever it is that his grandfather wants to happen, he could have just said no.

but the thing is, he does not see the point of saying no to his grandfather.

and iwaizumi actually gave in, he was actually fine with the thought of his grandfather controlling him. he was fine with that. he was fine with going with the flow, he was fine with being asked to marry someone whom he is not in love with, he was fine with everything that his grandfather wanted to happen.
