Eurielle stepped out of her grandmother's hospital room and leaned against the wall before turning to the right to see Dora offering her a weak smile.

Eurielle sniffed the air and her face soured at the smell of burnt coffee, " Can you take me to Grimmauld? The healers say she isn't waking up anytime soon but at least she's ok?"

Tonks took a sip of her coffee before spitting it back into the styrofoam cup, " Ugh," she shuddered, " Yeah, I can ask her questions when she's alright. . . you do know Samson's thinking of sending her back to the states right?"

Eurielle nodded, " I'm with him on it, c'mon,"

The two went to the lobby before linking arms and apparating in an alley not far from the old townhouse, " How's Sirius? "

Dora poured the coffee out and threw the cup in a street trashcan, " Livid. . . and worried sick, "

The Ravenclaw nodded, as to be expected. They walked the rest of the way in silence. She was supposed to return to school in about a week and she planned on using that time to her advantage. She needed to sit down and really talk to Sirius about what she had found out.

She couldn't chicken out like she had in December.

It had been scary to see her grandmother like that. Well, it's always scary to see someone so strong look so helpless and weak.

At least she'll be safe in America. According to Dora, her Uncle was going to be staying in Grimmauld for now on. And since her grandmother was going to be fine they had decided on not telling her cousins that she had been attacked. They had yet to cook up a lie to tell Aurelia and Caspian though.

Tonks opened the door and allowed Eurielle to go in first, " Thanks," she muttered before taking off her coat. She went toward the kitchen but hushed talking made her stop in her tracks.

Eurielle turned toward the living room and peeked around the corner to see Sirius pacing back and forth.

" ... knew it was her patronus? Does this mean she remembers?"

Orion sighed from the wall, " I don't know Sirius, do I look like a healer to you?"

Her father scoffed, " More like a heartless bastard to me," he snapped.

Orion rolled his eyes, " Someone's sensitive,"

When it looked like the conversation wasn't going anywhere Eurielle stepped out into the opening, " Hey," she said, unsure how to announce her presence.

Sirius whirled around and offered her a small smile, " Hey, you've been to see your grandmother then?" he asked. Though he smiled, it didn't reach his eyes.

She had a feeling he had never been very good at concealing how he really felt, always such a Gryffindor. Wearing his heart on his sleeve like that.

" I did, the healers say she's doing well. . . is Uncle Jem here?" she inquired before flopping down on the loveseat that sat underneath Orion's portrait.

Sirius took a seat across from her, " No he's patrolling right now, and then he's going to be heading over to St. Mungo's," he paused and looked toward the liquor cabinet, " Here,"

Eurielle raised an eyebrow as he flicked his wand toward the cabinet and two glasses came towards him, " You're almost seventeen, and I see nothing wrong with having a drink with your old man, besides," he sent her a doggish grin, " I happen to know you're no stranger to alcohol,"

Eurielle had the decency to blush, " Shut up," she grumbled before snatching the drink from his outstretched hand.

Sirius barked a laugh, " In all seriousness," he wiggled his eyebrows and she snorted, " I want to spend some time with you before you go back to school,"
