Eurielle had managed to avoid her dormmate's curious looks and whispers. She didn't have the patience for it in all honesty. She had been tired and didn't want anything more than to just sleep.

As soon as her head hit the pillow she was out. Her dreams filled with a woman with curly chocolate brown hair and tan skin standing in the middle of a garden. The woman looked up at the clear blue sky and smiled, her white sundress billowing in the cool summer breeze.

Eurielle watched the woman and felt an odd joy spread through her chest when those russet eyes looked at her.

The dream shifted to that day at Grimmauld, when her mother had rushed at her, seizing her by the shoulders. Screaming at her.

Her mother blamed herself for everything.

That part of her that remembers.

When morning came Eurielle made her way out of the Ravenclaw common room and towards Gryffindor tower. She needed to talk to Harry about what had happened to him during the sorting.

She saw kids, mostly first-years climbing out of the portrait hole. She saw a boy about to close it, " Oi!" she called out.

He spun around and with wide eyes, he looked at her, " Keep it open," she said to him, making him turn scarlet.

He nodded his head dumbly before scurrying off. Eurielle opened the door and climbed inside, ignoring the fat lady's shouts. She found the trio over in a corner of the common room talking amongst themselves.

" You lot look really suspicious," she said causing them all to jump.

" How'd you know the password?" asked Ron with his hand over his heart.

Eurielle shrugged, " Just told a firsty to let me in, "

Hermione frowned, " Not you too," she groaned.

The redhead only rolled his eyes, about to say something but Harry cut him off and began telling Eurielle what he had seen and heard during the train ride.

Well, that explained where Harry had been and also the growing suspicion that Draco was up to something- well something actually relevant.

Eurielle sighed and ran a hand through her hair and looked at her friends, " If he's not a death eater, he might be trying to prove himself. . . after that blunder of his father's,"

Harry nodded frantically, " See!" he said in Hermione's direction before shooting his godsister a dazzling smile, " Thank you, Ellie!"

She threw her hands up in surrender as the other two looked at her, " Harry you can't go around throwing accusations, he might just be trying to shag Parkinson." she stopped and looked thoughtful for a second, " Y'know with his pointy nose and her pug one do you think their kid could have a chance with a normal one?"

Ron seemed to take this question seriously as his face scrunched up in concentration, " Do noses work like that?"

" I dunno, It's a possi-,"

" Hello!" snapped Harry, " We were talking about something important here!"

The three listened to Harry ramble on but when they entered the hall Eurielle split from the group to receive her schedule, all NEWT classes.

She had Ancient Runes with Hermione and she had always enjoyed the subject.

Luna talked to her about her Muggle Studies and how she was excited to learn about how Muggles were able to invent cars. Eurielle listened and glanced over to Neville who was reading a Herbology book.
