Translator's Notes:

-Dongsaeng: (동생) does mean 'younger sibling', but it is strictly a term you use when speaking ABOUT a third party, not a form of address. This means you would never look at your younger groupmate and call him/her 'dongsaeng'. It is also not tacked onto the end of a name the way 'hyung' can be. Good example: "Our Henry is a wonderful dongsaeng and we want to pinch his cheeks." Bad example: "Henry-dongsaeng, I'm butchering Korean worse than you!" (A/N: I did do this, and you can smack me, but it was cute, and I discussed it in depth with my translator friend, and I am keeping it.)

-hyung: () meaning 'big brother', is only used by males, referring to older males who are too close to their own age to be an 'uncle' or 'grandpa' type.

-nim () is the highest form of honorifics and above -ssi, but is still used as a commonplace honorific for guests, customers, clients, and unfamiliar individuals. -nim is also used towards someone who is revered and admired for having a significant amount of skill, intellect, knowledge, etc. and is used for people who are of a higher rank than oneself. Examples include family members (eomeo-nim 어머님 & abeo-nim 아버님), teachers (seonsaeng-nim 선생님), holy men (e.g. pastors – moksa-nim 목사님), and the Christian God (haneu-nim 하느님 / hana-nim 하나님). -nim will follow addressees' names on letters/emails and postal packages.

-Yah:

(1) In Korea, this is an expression/outburst used when someone has been embarrassed, offended or annoyed.

(2) Or, used to object something.

{Example 1: Wife-"I swear his snoring kept me up all night." Husband-"Yah! I don't snore."}

[Example 2: Friend 1: You were totally wasted last night. Friend 2: Yah! I only had one drink...]

The live feed showed seven young men sitting around a swank living room, drinking liquor and shooting the breeze. Laughter could clearly be heard through the microphones as the equipment in the house shifted its focus to the room the men were in.

"Namjoon hyung, you got no jams!" Jungkook declared, giving his leader a saucy grin.

Namjoon just smirked and glanced at his dongsaeng with half lidded eyes.

"I have enough jams to make you beg," he said, blowing the boy a kiss.

All seven members burst out in to laughter, Jin shaking his head at the younger members' antics.
